@@Sparrow9642 ok well how about discord he is the Lord of chaos and we have seen that he is more powerful than Celestia and Luna and they can grant immortality. Thus causing a paradox where if Fluttershy asks discord for immortality even if it's temporary so she can explain he would and if she died discord could bring her back to explain the problem, he then could get vengeance on chrysalis and revive all the ponies with their parts back. We have seen that he could do this and would for Fluttershy.

I really feel sorry for everyone, apart of Chysalis that is. But mostly, Starlight. First she was forced to use her magic to slowly remove Twilight's cutie mark and make it dissappear in fin air. Second, she had to use a blade to tear Rainbow 's wings apart. Even though she died, she was equestria's most loyal pegasus. Rest in peace, Rainbow Dash. Anyways, even though her first option for Fluttershy was to cut her tongue off, she pulled the second lever, in order to spare her. I mean, sure Fluttershy's stare was hard to handle for Starlight, but she just couldn't harm her. She's Equestria's most timid, and caring pegasus. Anyways since Trixie was the one to be killed for Starlight's second choice, she got shreeded in to 2 peices. I think Trixie was a very good pony. Rest in peace, Trixie Lulamoon. For the fith spin, Applejack had to get her limbs and legs broken. And finally, when it was Pinkie Pie's turn to be punish, Starlight chose to sarcrafice herself. I feel sorry for her. But she did had to save her friends. Oh, and by the way, Rarity was the only one who was not chosen by the wheel.😧😧😧😢😯

I haven't listened yet but as much as I hated the friendship test I'm scared now.

Awww what a lovely grimdark story this was. But I see only one tragic flaw, Chrissie might have thought of nearly everything. But she didn't think of the one pony who could eventually learn the truth. Princess Luna! Think about it, when you have a nightmare you probably have little to no control over it. And Luna is the guardian over the night and the dream realms. So theoretically Luna could find out what happened if one of the ponies had a nightmare about it which they probably will. And no pony would have to tell her, therefore no pony would die because they didn't say anything. Their nightmares revealed it to Luna, and no pony told her. So, the curse would probably be broken after Luna found out and even if it wasn't Luna could force Chrissie to remove it because of course she'd find out about the curse through the nightmare. And then they could tell everypony what happened. That's the only major fatal flaw I can see and the only way Chrissie could possibly be caught. Missed a base, Chrisse. You missed a base~

XxOzzyfozzyxX Not exactly, because Chrysalis also stated that the curse could only be lifted by a Changeling of her magnitude. Luna isn't a Changeling, and Thorax would be useless or any other Changeling, and I doubt Chrysalis would lift the curse if they managed to contain her. So even if Luna found out about the spell, it wouldn't matter, because only Chrysalis could lift the spell, and she would never give into the demands of Celestia or Luna. She'd kill herself first

There are ways for them to get Chrissie to remove it. Probably they'd put her under a hypnosis spell and have her remove it. Take for instance that Twilight was able to hypnotize the Vampire Fruit Bats so they wouldn't eat apples anymore. The only reason it backfired was because it bounced off from the Vampire Fruit bats to Fluttershy. I'm certain Celestia and Luna would be able to hypnotize Chrissie into removing the curse. I really love your videos and this story, it's quite an awesome story, I'm just telling you that there are flaws which need to be addressed. Luna could find out and she and Celestia would be more than capable of forcing her to remove the curse. If Luna can raise the moon and if Celestia can raise the sun there's no doubt they'd be capable enough to make Chrissie remove the curse. Or they can just get Discord to force her to do it. He'd be more than happy to do so and then they'd probably let Discord do with Chrissie as he pleases since Chrissie did subject Fluttershy to trauma. So yeh, I just wanted to point those out to you, because I felt like it was important for you to know. I hope I'm not crossing a line here or being rude. I just wanted to point out some flaws in Chrissie's plan that you probably aren't aware of. Those two flaws however, are not enough to keep me from absolutely adoring this story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I have come back time and time again to listen to it whenever I am in need of some delicious horror. This story is one of the most splendidly written, well paced, and best detailed horror stories of the MLP community. I so do hope that you continue to write horror stories, you do an amazing job at it.

XxOzzyfozzyxX You're right, and trust me, I'm not getting angry or anything, when I know myself there are flaws. This whole comment would make for a good story of the aftermath, but there's one thing that cannot be changed even if Chrysalis was caught and forced to lift the spell. She still will have won because AJ will never get her limbs back, Twilight's cutie mark is gone for eternity, RD is dead, Trixie is dead, and Starlight is dead. The events of what happened will be with the survivors along with their friends that they lost in horrid ways for the rest of their lives. Even if the curse is lifted, she got her vengeance and wins, no matter what may happen

There's still that going back in time spell that Starlight created that could be used to save them, BUT let's just assume that the spell Starlight made was only going back to the time when the Rainboom happened. And it appears that way, and we all know messing with time has dire consequences. So, even if Celestia or Luna were able to go back in time, who isn't to say that somepony else would end up dying in somepony else's place, because of the interference? What if Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Twilight or Rarity dies in place of RD or Trixie? Messing with the fate of somepony else could cause that fate to shift and another pony to die because of the intervening. Altering the past could have dire consequences. So let's say by the law of FATE somepony would HAVE to die no matter WHAT, because that fate HAS to go somewhere. So even if they were able to go back in time to intervene, instead of RD dying, Aj dies in her place and so on and so forth. So you're right about that Chrissie did STILL win in the end, there's no way of reversing what she has done. Not even Discord's magic could replace what was lost. I mean yeah, Discord is VERY powerful, but we all know Cutie Marks cannot be made with magic, like how Twi tried to give Apple Bloom a cutie mark with magic but it vanished everytime. Even if Discord tried to replace Twi's Cutie marks it would probably fail. And even if Discord TRIED to give Aj limbs, they wouldn't be her original limbs and wouldn't compare to the strength her original limbs had. As you said prosthetic limbs wouldn't match Aj's natural strength. Discord would be making artificial limbs out of magic, which of course would pale in comparison to her natural limbs. And Rarity and Fluttershy would still be mentally scarred for life, and I doubt magic can be used to take that trauma away. Even if their memories were altered/erased for them to forget that event, there would still be trauma. Because trauma is deeply rooted into the core of someone's being. They may not remember what happened, but their bodies will. They will still go through stages of trauma, but just not know why and how they became traumatized. So no matter what, the scars of what Chrissie has done will linger for the rest of their lives.

XxOzzyfozzyxX Exactly, time travel wouldn't change anything, and strangely reminds me of Corpse Party. Also, the spell was lost to time when Starlight was reformed, so it couldn't be possible, seeing only two ponies knew the spell and could possibly make a copy of it; Starswirl and Starlight. Considering this story takes place before the events of the season 7 finale, Starswirl wouldn't be possible, and Starlight is dead. You might say Twilight might be able to, BUT when her cutie mark was destroyed, so was her magical abilities, so she wouldn't even have the strength to cast a spell of that magnitude.

This is saw, pony style. Only jigsaw tried to make their victims appreciate life. This is just sadistic

Starlight just likes the cop-out option for the third lever. If she took her 30 seconds to state it and then did it, it would be on the others to keep calm, or not. But at least they would have had the chance with the least overall damage.

I'm going to put it like this. Imagine yourself in Starlight's position. You would be in too much confusion, shock, and terror to even think about the logical solution. Therefore, Starlight's actions make sense.

The ending proves to me that Chrysilis is more then just heartless and cruel, she's the biggest coward I've seen yet.

Hmm, if I was the one designing the death trap, I would have made it more like this: This is the wheel of Choice. The wheel will spin, and for the pony it stops on you have three options in form of buttons. The first button will, if you are lucky, do nothing. But if you are unlucky, will kill the pony in question in the most brutal ways (acid, slow decapitation, limbs are torn off...), a 50/50 challenge if you like. The second button is the choice to spin the wheel again and the next pony it lands on will die in a brutal way, just as gory as the first button would. The last button is that all ponies are spared, but you will give a piece of yourself. And by that I mean your arms and legs will be cut off piece by piece by hot blades that will make sure you do not bled out before the game is over. Now, that is something the Saw films would be proud off!XD

That's too fast, this is a case of revenge, so Chrysalis set it up where the results would be extended, meaning the punishments weren't immediate death. It's not a Saw trap where someone is killed if they fail. As Chrysalis quoted "My revenge had to be something more malevolent. Something more sinister. Something more equal to what you do to me, in front of my subjects!" While the design is based off the Shotgun Carousel, the heavy inspiration came for Magpiepony's "The Friendship Test," which was more a "Would You Rather" based fic. So, this was intended to be a mix of Saw and Would You Rather.

Yeah...didn't think about that one, did you Chrysalis? When Discord finds out, you're gonna end up splattered on the ground like a cockroach under someone's shoe!

OK, hear me out. But when Chrysalis says don't tell Celestia or any'PONY' at 49:49 What about telling Discord?

First there was the experiments of Twilight Sparkle which features Twilight as the sadistic one. Then there was the friendship test that had Starlight as the sadistic one. NOW I AM REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS ONE.

I think the biggest issue with this one is just how tied it is to Starlight's perspective. I'll admit, I'm pretty biased since I've never quite enjoyed her character, but either way, I would've greatly enjoyed hearing how the other ponies felt, both to the deaths and maimings of their friends. Trixie got like- one line- right before she died. For someone who's importance to Starlight was probably only outranked by Twilight, that was pretty disappointing. Like they didn't even go into the reaction to Rainbow- /Even of it didn't kill her, you'd think that would've rocketed Fluttershy's life meter pretty damn high-/ Not to mention Pinkie. It felt so empty when you didn't get to hear anything of meaning from the others. It's still a good listen, don't get me wrong! But painfully lacking in the characterization.

Applejack’s seems a bit overkill really. All Chrysalis needed to break her was to severe only her hind legs as without those Applejack can never buck apple trees again.

Loophole. Fluttershy could ask discord for immortality. She could explain the whole thing without dying. And discord would serve vengeance and revive all of them. And don't tell me he couldn't since Celestia and Luna can and they aren't as powerful as discord.

You're a genius lmao. This story is kind of decent, but the so called 'curse' that blocks out all hope for the characters even though we don't even hear it's name, origin, etc is so fvcking hilariously contrived and, to be harsh, lazy a$$ writing. The characters are so unreactive to each other being literally fvcking tormented in this story too lol. Plus Starlight Glimmer is a selfish, dumb bltch who didn't even sacrifice herself until so much damage had already been done. Shock isn't an excuse since most people, even within immense, paralysing shock, would still look out for their loved ones and sacrifice themselves to save them. The gore in this story is described well enough to entertain morbidly. Other than that, 4/10 for it being so mediocre to the point it's near being bad.

@@69Satan69 I agree so fvcking hard mate (using censors cuz of dumb youtube). Chrysalis in this fanfic is a evil Mary Sue (especially in the sequel dear fvcking me). She has EVERYTHING conveniently figured out, even though Discord could easily @ss clap her curse out of existence (though the author always conveniently ignores his existence. Go figure.) Overall, the gore is mediocre, characteristion is too flat, plot is contrived. Though, the premise is good and so is the narrator. 6/10

I wonder what Pinkie's punishment would have been. Something with her throat probably.

Rainbow Dash is either the first to die or the insane one in every fanfic 💀

First: How was Fluttershy even calmed once everyone was woken up? It's Fluttershy in a grimdark. Second: Wouldn't it be more sinister if Chrysalis made Starlight bring each cutie mark to her to destroy? She'd still be forcing Starlight to aide in destroying them. Third: Now I'm thinking of that terrible fic called the Friendship Test (granted this one isn't that bad) Fourth: I hope the author could branch out into giving more characters more lines. The interplay of all characters, even in the Saw movies, is usually more interesting than the traps. Fifth: Starlight O.P.s her way back in time to explode Chrysalis before she finishes stealing away her past self and friends. And tampering with time travel causes irreversible damage to the future.

Sparrow 9642 They don't have to tamper with the spell. She said that if they speak to any pony, the curse will be triggered. If she said any creature or any body then there would be no hope. But changelings, draconaqui and other creatures aren't ponies.

Don't be so sure about that.

This was enjoyable to listen to. I don't particularly like the bloody executions and tortures, but the brutal game that chrysalis had thought up was good. I quite enjoyed chrysalis here. I feel her murderous glee. Edit: I just don't believe how quickly starlight was broken. Didn't seem natural

Why didn't starlight teleport them out? She is magically way more powerful than Chrystalis. Or at the very least, make the 3rd choose to the first place?

Ok, imagine yourself in a situation like Starlight. You wake up in an unknown place, are met with your worst enemy where you have no choice but to follow what they say, and on top of that your closest friends are all in a dangerous situation, and if one thing goes wrong, or you choose wrong, you could be the one that sentenced them to death. You wouldn't be thinking smartly, you'd be in a panic and scared for your friends safeties. Therefore, Starlight wasn't thinking with a level head on top of all that was happening. Also, you seriously think Chrysalis would let her escape so easily? Even if they did, they'd be met with death upon one word of anything to do with what happened there, seeing the death curse was set before the chaos even started. It also explains why she didn't choose option 3 at first, because her mind was in too much of a panic to realize that in doing the actions she was doing, she was endangering their lives. After being pushed to the brim of being mentally broken, Starlight only then realized what her biggest mistake had been, and followed up choosing the right choice, now that she was aware that Chrysalis had intentionally distracted her from choosing right. All part of her revenge to destroy Starlight as she had done to her by taking everything from her.

*Kills* 1. Rainbow Dash: Wings broken; life force sucked out; grounded to death. 2. Trixie Lulamoon: cut in half by a massive saw blade. 3. Starlight Glimmer: Sacrificed herself to save her friends: Split in half. *The Numbers* 3 ponies died in Chrysalis’ Revenge with all 3 being female, as expected. With a runtime of 51 minutes, we get a kill on average every 17 minutes.

@@Sparrow9642 *Golden Chainsaw* Golden Chainsaw for coolest kill was hard to pick, but I’ll give it to Starlight Glimmer. Her sacrifice was honestly the best part of the story since, in the end, no matter what, Chrysalis would’ve gotten what she wanted… *Dull Machete* No Dull Machete this time, the other two kills were unexpected and great. It also gives the audience more of a reason to hate Chrysalis..

Ummmm....that “tattoo” is the thing that enables her to perform her magic skills which was her destiny, aka the thing that made Twilight who she was and ultimately allowed her to become Celestias protege, the princess of friendship and to meet the 5 other main characters. It’s more than just a tattoo🙄🙄🙄

​@@Sparrow9642 So basically Chrysalis did the following 1.She placed a self-activating death curse onto the ponies she despised most (such as the Mane Six and their acquaintances, princesses Cadence, Luna, and Celestia) which can can instantaneous death WHEN the aforementioned ponies tell about the said curse to virtually anyone else (Though that would made me think if the curse would still kill the said victim should they told it to another victim Chrysalis had on her list) to ensure that they CANNOT do anything against her at ANY way, or in short terms, the curse acts as a deterrent should they turn the tables at Chrysalis. That also means that EVEN killing her would activate the said death curse (which Twilight eventually "made" Chrysalis do which permanently screwed the whole bucking thing up) 2. She ensured to totally break Starlight's Psyche by forcing her to do the following (though she REALLY intended a portion of this step for Twilight as well later on) -Disabling the Mane Six by taking away their most prominent trait that makes up their status as an element bearer •Twilight's magical talent provided by her cutie mark which Starlight extracts and destroys. •Rainbow's flying abilities provided by her wings which Starlight violently chops off, though Rainbow never survived due to her life meter (which fills depending on how succumbed the victim is to the inflicted pain, in simple terms, if you react to pain your life meter goes up, and when it becomes 100% full, you die) and getting grounded to shreds. •Applejack's bucking abilities provided by her limbs which Starlight also chops off (she later committed suicide by hanging [Chrysalis set her up that way should she survive the ordeal. Oh come on, she OBVIOUSLY know she wouldn't last long in that state either]) •As for Fluttershy, she was spared but at the cost of witnessing the horrid shredding of Rainbow Dash and Trixie, traumatizing her so much that she committed suicide as well by drinking Rat Poison •As for Rarity and Pinkie Pie, they both died after Chrysalis killed herself (Note, backread to what I wrote in Step one if you're confused) 3. Allowing Starlight to "witness" her best friend Trixie die after the former exchanges her for Fluttershy (Trixie was ground into shreds alive after Starlight pulled Lever No#2 which states that a victim chosen by the activator (Starlight) will be spared but at the cost of losing the aforementioned activator's closest companion (but Chrysalis could have done it to ANY other victim Starlight exchanges for anyway [lest Starlight chooses to exchange Fluttershy, Pinkie or Rarity though either three will get Trixie killed anyway as per the purpose of Lever #2]) Note: Trixie's death became the final straw for Starlight to eventually resort to pull Lever #3 which Chrysalis (had truly) intended for her to pull the whole bucking time.(The aforementioned lever states that it will free ALL the surviving victims at the expense of the activator (Starlight)). As a result Starlight was slowly ripped apart to death by a twisting chair. 3. After Step 1 and 2 was done (it's obvious Chrysalis had seen the limits of her victim's psyches a long way back) she allows the survivors to live back to their normal lives (as such, Chrysalis already expected that the said survivors' lives won't be the same after that horrid ordeal they've gone through) she somehow ensured that Twilight (or possibly any of the "whole-bodied" survivors) will somehow return to her and screw things even further using a well-planned manipulation which goes as follows: (In the story, Princess Celestia warns Twilight about the consequence should she choose the "thing she fears" (the said "worst thing" is when when Twilight decides that Chrysalis must die in one way or the other) •Also when Twilight did return as Chrysalis expected (since Twilight supposedly still has the Death Curse) she gave her an ultimatum: Either Twilight chooses "DEATH via poison gas inhalation (which, oblivious to Twilight, will spare the lives of the remaining survivors) or choose "LIFE" (which, is also oblivious to Twilight, Chrysalis will kill herself and ONLY break Twilight's curse but kills all the other survivors [though I think I read somewhere that Chrysalis had ALREADY broke Twilight's curse beforehand which I never quite remember because I am so traumatized back then as I am now that I can hardly remember]) -Chrysalis confined herself and Twilight into a locked room which can only be opened by a combination (though that part wouldn't happen until you read this first) -As expected, Twilight chooses the "LIFE" option and Chrysalis obligedly kill herself by slitting her throat (which, if you read back to step 1, kills Celestia, Luna as well as Rarity and Pinkie Pie). Then Twilight, as per the instructions of Chrysalis reads one of the two envelopes labeled "LIVE" which to her shock (you already know what I mean) had doomed Equestria but granted her the password for her to open the door The story ends as Twilight screams in her "failure" (seriously what would you feel if your enemy set you up to do his or her motive?)

A genre that is meant to invoke a sense of helplessness, so it was never intended to be a happy story with a happy ending; it was meant to be disturbing, scarring, and heartbreaking. Actually, I might have a few ideas Trixie: Horn broken off Pinkie: Mouth sewn shut Rarity: Scalped

If I were starlight glimmer, I would choose option 3

What they could have done is have the princesses grant their magic to thorax in a similar way they had given them to twilight when teirek came back. That way what is left of the main six wouldn't technically be in trouble of their triggers and thorax could have the power to remove the curse. Chrysalis wouldn't know until it's too late because the only way she would know is if the others would have set out to look for her, that's when she would have set off the triggers. But with nothing to trigger she'd be in deep shit.

She wasn't giving her the stare, but more pleading her not to hurt her out of natural instinct in a situation of life or death. She couldn't hurt Fluttershy, because, considering what she'd already done to Twilight and Rainbow Dash, she couldn't handle watching her friends be tortured at her hooves again. Only until she put it up to chance, ending Trixie's life in doing so, did she realize that there was no free card or merciful choice in this. It was all pure carnage and absolute revenge designed to break Starlight mentally if she had somehow survived in the end. The only mercy was her death, but she realized that far too late.
