@@BrathanMusic I understand that. I have family in both cities and have visited, Montgomery should be built up more there too too many abandoned strips all over…Huntsville area is, and I was shocked, one of the fastest growing cities in the states, and you have that big national park up that way.

They should make a park across the river and condos with window shops so much possibilities if that city try to bring more growth to metro. Maybe in 2080.

If you ask me it has more land and opportunity than any city in al love it here yes a bridge for cars over the river for hotels and shopping and houses that would be so lit

@@dannyfirst6544 It is the center of the civil Rights movement of 1965. As well as many other aspects. The city has the 10 largest Shakespeare theater in the world etc.

@@josephj.6478 yeah I used to hit the jazz clubs and dreamland BBQ years ago. Club 1049 in old Cloverdale was live blues 7 days a week. Issue I had with Montgomery was it was extremely boring and racist

@@dannyfirst6544 ah I'm sorry about that (and yes Dreamland was the best) If you ever get the chance I highly suggest checking out downtown at night w/some friends. SOO different from 4 years ago and in a good way

Our city is a tourist destination. Were one of the most historic cities in the United States. This is where the civil rights movement was born. On our great seal it says " The Capital of the Confederacy and Birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement.

Most of our shops etc are outside of downtown. It's a very spread out city and everywhere you go and everything you do you have to use a car.

Beautifull, but the city looks deserted.

That’s bc it is I grew up here born and raised I left in 2007 90% of my graduating class left for college and never returned there’s just not many financial opportunities in Montgomery. Great place lots of history and culture just lacks high paying jobs I blame the city council and greedy state politicians 🤷🏾‍♂️

no its not! say what you want when the ugly duckling becomes that swan! you won't be saying that anymore. TRUST ME!!. Just watch and see down the road what will happen, i have seen cities like just come out of nowhere in high growth and start blowing other cities away. look at Charlotte, Tampa, Raleigh, Austin, etc. it was the same way. Not no more??!!

@@jake94575 that small town is stuck. 75 years behind due to bad leaders, no jobs, awful crime, crazy ppl and no entertainment. At this point Auburn/Opelika will be the new metro in Central Alabama Even Huntsville has passed that town. It is a lost hope town. It don't dare compare to those cities!

@@KingMikeProductions Crime is not as bad as people think it is. Most cities are seeing spikes in violent crime especially homicides. If you compare per capita it is higher than the national average for homicides, but most cities are. This city has a future. The problems Montgomery has such as education, took years to get to this point and will take time to turn around. Once education thrives, everything else falls into play. The education is the main problem. Do you live in Montgomery?
