Every summer, Robert and Wendy Arbeit arrive at their home-away-from-home in Montfort, France. A tiny slip of a village, a single cobblestoned road takes visitors through the picturesque historic center-lined with shops, cafés, and the Arbeits’ own blond-stone village home.

Good episode. My experience is that, in comparison to the US, housing is cheaper, everything about owning a car is more expensive, meat is more expensive, while produce tends to be a bit more expensive but of a little higher quality. People are nice, many Brits live here, English is spoken a bit by some Frenchmen but certainly not by a majority. Air conditioning is generally not available although some days get pretty hot. Medical care is good. The area is rural and agricultural, with rolling hills.
