I will add to everyone watching: you can also rotate one or two toys at a time! So out of the 8 available you leave the 6 most played with and add 2 fresh ones that you think will suit their interests/be combinable with whatever they are interested in. Very easy lowkey, no pressure and you can tweak as you clean up.

I used to work in a day nursery and we used to change over the toys at least 2-3 times a day the age groups was 9-14 months. But in the 3-5 room at least 4 times a day. Twice in the morning after the breaks and after lunch they changed them over doing outside play a lot. the babies did have access to an outside space but it was limiting due to babies not being able to move around. We went out for walks to the nearest garden centre for stimulation. After I left the 3-5 years had access to a big field and trees they used to get a forest person to talk about everything outside and how to grow things. You are doing a grand job well done Agnes.. Love watching your vlogs xxx thank you for sharing

I so wish I had found a resource like you back when my kids were toddlers! I wanted to implement this so badly, and just couldn't quite figure out the organization of it. These tips were so helpful! My kids are a bit older now and I'm wanting to do something similar with some of our unit studies. This gave me a lot of inspiration for it. Thanks for the great content! liked and subscribed :)

So happy for your KZread videos! ❤ i definitely prefer this longer format! Thanks for all the information, very clear and helpful! I wish I could organize our toys that way but we live in a small European apartment with little storage space…but! That helps me to stay minimal, I do often clear outs evaluating what we really need!

Where did you get the 8-shelf wooden bookcase. I don’t see that in the show notes list of things. Thanks!
