Full highlights from the Water Polo Arena at the London 2012 Olympic Games where Montenegro took of Serbia in the bronze medal match of the men's water polo event (12 August 2012).
Water polo made its Olympic debut at the Paris Games in 1900. It was not included in 1904 but would be present at each subsequent edition of the Olympic Games.
In the early days, the players rode on floating barrels that resembled mock horses, and swung at the ball with mallet-like sticks. This made it similar to equestrian polo, hence its name.

I worked for the BBC and helped transmit this game on TV! Such a good game to watch and work on :) Cant believe it was almost 4 years ago!

the slow mo shot at 14:15 is brilliant. admittedly, this sport is much more fun for the players than it is for the fans. Still, I wish it could catch on enough to have pro leagues in North America.
I love the MNE goalie. He's my height, so he gives me hope!
This just shows that no referee can be to blame for the win or lose. The quality can rise above no matter what.

depends usually its a foul. but if it seems to overly aggressive it could an exclusion or a kickout (depends on the referee)

Completely disgusting and scandalous officiating, against Serbia of course. There is not even the slightest bit of pretence of impartiality. Towards the end it's almost like a Monty Python sketch. I'm surprised the referee didn't jump into the pool those last few seconds to try to score a goal of his own.
Ovaj sudija nije normalan, izbacio je trenera Udovicica i pomocnika trenera Stanojevica. Na kraju je Srbija ostala sa zamenikom zamenika trenera 😂😂😂
