Best waterpolo team in the world! And they say we don't have sea. But we have 15 medals 👋🇷🇸🇷🇸
After 2016 Olympics final victory, Serbia became current title holder at the time in all official competitions that exist in Water Polo: World Cup, World Championship, World League, European Championship and Olympic Games! No other team has ever done anything similar in the history of Water Polo.

Mađarska je najuspješnija vaterpolska reprezentacija svih vremena. Ovo nisam napisao da bi poticao mržnju, bez ikakve mržnje. Iako je, kažem, Mađarska najuspješnija, to ne osporava činjenicu da ste vaterpolska velesila bili i ostali. Pozdrav. :)

@@samopozitiva8089 Mislio je konkretno na ovu generaciju. Ova generacija verovatno jeste najbolja ikada u ovom sportu.
Know this. Just from 2014 Serbia won: European championship '14, '16, '18 (play's every two years) -- World league '14, '15, '16, '17, '19 (play's every year) -- World cup '14 (play's every four years) -- World championship '15 (every two years) -- Olympic games '16 (every four years). They have 18 more gold medals from all of this turnaments including 3 from Mediterranean games (here also participate all of the strongest nations in the World, like: Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Greece, Spain...)

@@zimajulska1611 Ne može u nizu. Srpski niz je fantastičan. Ali može ukupno. Upravo je Hrvatska ponovno postale europski prvak u vaterpolu, a Srbije nema nigdje. Tako je to - svaka sila za vremena.

@@strahinjastevic7480 Kod Srbije (naročito Srbije jer ima malo bazena) i Mađarske je to posebno fascinantno jer to nisu morske zemlje. Italiji, Španjolskoj, Grčkoj, Hrvatskoj je to nekako samorazumljivo.

You are greatly exaggerating. Yugoslavia was together for many years, and it would have already achieved the kind of success you are dreaming about here - but it didn't. Thus, in just 30 years of its existence, Croatia has already achieved greater football success than Yugoslavia in its 70 years of existence, and it has more Olympic medals on its own.

This is a weird sport. It is very slow. Players just stand in their spot waiting for the ball to have the opportunity to shoot. The team formations are very static. There's no motion and because of that the sport ends up being too simple. I don't get how people like this.

Trust me they are moving it just doesn’t seem like they move as much as basketball for example because swimming is much slower and more tiring than running
never saw that sport...seems pretty easy and boring compared to football, tennis or basketball...

Man this needs extreme endurance. During Football, Basketball and Tennis you can stand on the ground in Waterpolo you have to stay above the water besides playing the ball and having body contact with other people!

@@grunedrachenweide6965 Not easy, oke. But boring to watch (to me)...And there are not so many great things to see compared to football (real football)...dribbling, 35m shots, acrobatic goalies, beautiful ball controls etc...

Honestly, I don't think water polo is the most fun sport to watch, but I think it's the must fun to play. The reason why is that when you're watching, you can't really get an appreciation for all that's really happening during the game. Because you are less mobile in the water compared to sports like football and basketball, you end up in a sort of battle with whoever you're guarding or who's guarding you. This makes it similar to combat sports in a way: you have to think more about yourself on an individual level and pay more attention to where the different parts of your body are. There are many more nuances due to the game being played in water, and I think its the sum of these little things that make it so fun.
