Love how people have pot plants all over the place. The flowers on via del Torrione are beautiful. I presume that the wall paintings on corso Vittorio Emanuele are of the paintings of Perugino? Umbria is so green and beautiful. Watching this makes me want to revisit the region. Thanks for sharing, Riccardo 🤗

Ciao Geraldine! This town is quite remarkable despite its lack of fame. Perhaps Perugino visited it...? Could not find much... Its beauty is reminiscent of a Tuscan village, yet it remains relatively undiscovered by tourists. It's almost as if it's frozen in time. I can't help but wonder if perhaps in the future, this town will become a bustling hub like those in Tuscany, filled with shops and tourists. It truly feels like a hidden gem. Wishing you a delightful Sunday evening, and looking forward to our next encounter as always🤗

Thanks for this beautiful video. First of all I want to commend you for the length of the video, not too long, just perfect. I can only imagine what the town will look like if it was filmed later in day when a lot of people are outside. I’m getting used to the quiet ones also. Very relaxing, charming town, adorned with flowers and plants. Nice panorama. I wish the Church of Peter & Paul was open named after my two favorite Apostles. I enjoyed video, see you in the next one.

Dear Esther, thank you as always for the kind words about the video. You know, this town is quite remarkable despite its lack of fame. Its beauty is reminiscent of a Tuscan village, yet it remains relatively undiscovered by tourists. Very very few people around and mostly old kind and nice people. Will it become like Tuscany as only for tourists in the future? I don't know... but I suspect that this town here is a reminder of "how they were" back in the day. I also wished there was some more people, yet ... it was relaxing indeed and the panoramas were quite something. I remember when I finished filming it, that I stopped at the entrance thinking a bit by myself about the day and it was quite e remarkable time... so silence, some birds, windy day, everything was slow. The time itself was slower. The memories I collect in these travels are quite something and in a way, while filming, it's like sharing them here with everyone. We saw the same things, we heard the same sounds and noises. And glad also Montelone has now been walked in and preserved for others to see how it looked like in 2023. Wish you a nice Sunday and a big hug

Liebe Dagmar, vielen Dank wie immer für die netten Worte auch zum Thema Gesundheit. Ich freue mich sehr, dass es dir besser geht. Mir geht es auf jeden Fall auch besser als vorher. Die Zeit vergeht, die Erde bewegt und dreht sich am Ende weiter. Wissen Sie, diese Stadt ist trotz ihres Mangels an Ruhm ziemlich bemerkenswert. Seine Schönheit erinnert an ein toskanisches Dorf, dennoch bleibt es von Touristen relativ unentdeckt. Es sind nur sehr, sehr wenige Leute da und überwiegend alte, freundliche und nette Leute. Wird es in Zukunft wie in der Toskana nur noch für Touristen sein? Ich weiß es nicht ... aber ich vermute, dass diese Stadt hier eine Erinnerung daran ist, „wie sie damals waren“. Ich wünschte auch, es wären mehr Leute da, aber ... es war wirklich entspannend und die Panoramen waren etwas ganz Besonderes. Ich erinnere mich, dass ich, als ich mit den Dreharbeiten fertig war, am Eingang stehen blieb und ein wenig über den Tag nachdachte, und es war eine wirklich bemerkenswerte Zeit ... so Stille, ein paar Vögel, windiger Tag, alles war langsam. Die Zeit selbst war langsamer. Die Erinnerungen, die ich auf diesen Reisen sammle, sind etwas ganz Besonderes und in gewisser Weise ist es beim Filmen so, als würde ich sie hier mit allen teilen. Wir sahen die gleichen Dinge, wir hörten die gleichen Geräusche und Geräusche. Und ich bin froh, dass Montelone nun betreten und erhalten wurde, damit andere sehen können, wie es im Jahr 2023 aussah. Wünsche dir einen schönen Sonntag und eine dicke Umarmung

Whoaaaa... it's so... straight! Most houses are actually square or rectangle, all roofs have the same pitch and are in decent shape! What is this? The urban planning is very different, compared to other towns. It almost looks recent. Glad to see that their streets and piazzas names are in order. Umbria is so nice... that shot from 6:50... man...

Huuugo my dear friend, ah indeed I didn't even think about it like that, but you're right actually. An hilltop town which strangely enough is very straight, apart from the Cavour piazza that went a little downhill. It was a little different indeed from other towns, a kind of a strange mix. Looked a bit like Pienza by its shape , though Pienza was specifically created to be like that,so it's almost ambigous. And of course the names were all correct in their locations))

Umarım bu kasabalara da daha çok insan bakar sevgili Gökçe. Belki zamanla! En azından bu kasabaları çektiğimde bir şekilde zamanı durdurdum ve gelecekte insanlar bunun 2020'lerde nasıl olduğunu görecekler) Seni tekrar gördüğüme her zaman sevindim ve... yakında görüşürüz

This is another beautiful hilltoptown in Umbria, which I unfortunately did not visit during holidays in Tuscany/Umbria. Problem: there are so many of these gems. The reddish bricks could be typical for this part of Umbria. Those houses look the same as in Paciano and Panicale. Two cute villages that are worth a visit as well, with a view over Lake Trasimeno as a bonus.

Ciao Stroop, indeed this is a rather un-famous town which it seems rather strange considering its beauty. It's like a tuscan town yet... without the fame or tourists. Probably back in the day, the tuscan towns looked like this or... in the future this town will look like a tuscan town with shops and tourists around. An hidden gem. Perhaps a great investment I reckon)

Italy is always so beautiful. nice walking tour.. old street and houses is really very gergous.

So happy for this... remember the first messages we wrote each other 3 years ago? My God, time flies... I'm decently fine, wasn't easy lately for me as well but not due to health luckily. So true Ric. Indeed, it looks a LOT like Tuscany, yet... no tourists around or shops so one can imagine how Tuscany would be without the fame it has... or at least to imagine how these towns looked lile. A nice town indeed. "Un caro saluto anche a te" and... see you soon as always)

What a beautiful old village and the view is stunning. A real gem. . Just wonder if there are some shops, bars etc? It looked closed, so not easy to see what is private houses or possibly shops. Would love to stay for a while in such a beautiful village. The people seemed very nice too. Thank you for sharing.

Ciao again Joan, indeed inside the old town I didn't see at all anything like that, though I must say that, just at the end of the video, when you see me exiting from the big gate, on that road where the cars were parked there were bars and some small shops. Also, not far away in the valley there's a big supermarket (Conad) as I went also there after so I remember that very well. It's a little of a "dream village" this one... it looks like a very touristy tuscan town yet there was almost noone and almost noone knows it...
