I don't comment very much but I wanted to say y'all at Elk Shape make some of the best hunting videos I've watched. Hell y'all make some of the best content period along with MFJJ for everything bow related. I've never eaten elk never hunted elk but after watching these videos and being a combat veteran I feel the challenge of elk hunting calling me from the wild. I got a year to get into Elk shape.... Game on.

Hell yeah hell of a season! Congratulations Dan!! You guys should do a video on how you get on the tracks the difference between a bull print/cow print, reading the direction of travel, bull/cow scat lol that would be awesome. Something I do that most don't is almost touch the scat to see how warm it is could look fresh but be ice cold.

I've never elk hunted but I gotta imagine it's probably the most fun hunting there is!! It's so hands-on, you're literally talking with the bulls!!! Cut off his bugle and that pissed him off enough that he said screw this shit and came in in🤘🤘💪💪♥️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Nice work! I am with you on the fixed pins for elk, in the heat of the moment it is one less thing you have to worry about. Elk hunting is hard enough without having to remember to set your sight to the correct placement for a shot.

Separation is in the preparation. Congratulations on the hat 🧢 trick. 3 bulls in 3 states. If you were to make a Top 5 list of states for a beginner to try and build a 4 state rotation to hunt elk every year (but can only do one hunt a year since one is coming from the east) what would they be and possibly why? I know that CO and ID have OTC opportunities and many states have easier to draw general hunts.

Dan, love the videos but on the self filmed stuff subtitles would be great. it’s really hard to hear what you’re saying when you’re whispering to the camera without cranking up the volume then getting blasted with volume when it goes into music, ad etc
