@@TomMakeHere a reasonably hard large hammer is no worries - the brgs are heaps harder than the hammer & shite does not chip off the hammer into the brg . Soft hammers are for soft bearings etc , cheers .

As for the comment on why they do not cover the parts mechanized during the painting dire that the reason is that all these areas are coated with a kind of varnish that protects the paint and is removed with great ease when finishing the process. Hola amigo.Son rodamientos grandes y robustos ademas no llevan apriete.Tienen una holgura de entre 0,02 y 0,03 centesimas de milimetro para evitar problemas de dilatacion ya que van a trabajar en condiciones de temperaturas altas.El golpear con el martillo en la parte adecuada no supone ningun riesgo para la integridad de los mismos.Gracias y buen dia.👍

you use a hard hammer carefully to avoid contamination. A soft drift can splinter and go in the bearing. Notice how oval bearing drifts are hard?

Muy bonito trabajo!!!! Lo unico que no me gusto es como instalaban los baleros! En cualquier otro trabajo, si te ven haciendo eso, te corren o te ponen una regañada brutal!! Deberian de usar un martillo de bronze o un pedazo de madera para que el martillo de metal no peque sobre el balero. Tambien. el que estaba pintando no enpapelo las areas maquinadas. Porque no lo hizo?

Very nice piece! The only thing I don't like is the design of that joint assembly at 6:00 to 6:30. I think it could be designed much better The surface area taking the load is very small compared to the rest of the unit.

Hola muy buenas noches muy bonito como se va montando los carretones de la inmensa grua pero yo creo que cuendo se montan los rodamientos hay que tener mas cuidado y no montar los a martillazo vivo se golpean con un trozo de bronce para no estro pear los rodamientos que valen una pasta gracias y un saludo......

Why o why is the guy not using some kind of a block installing the bearings into that base unit

Raymond admiro SU trabajo pero no tanto el de como ensamblan los baleros y la grasa. 1era: Los baleros NO se golpean de ninguna manera, ya sea que los caliente para expandir su diametro (en este caso no se puede al ser rodamiento de RODILLO) y en su defecto se debe ENFRIAR la flecha para que disminulla su diametro e insertar el balero sin golpearlo. 2da: La grasa que aplican a los baleros debe ser de alta viscosidad debido a que el balero de rodillo esta diseñado para soportar altas cargas y si la grasa no es de buena calidad y/o se encuentra contaminada con tierra, rebaba o algun otro agente externo esto puede ir a parar a los rodamientos y desgastarlos disminuyendo la vida util del aparato. Opino con conocimiento de causa, mi papa lleva mas de 40 años reparando motores electricos y obviamente cambiando baleros.

Just a comment a quick comment, between 3:07 and 3:23 wrong lubrication and installation of the bearing. Installing this bearing with a hammer diminishing lifetime by 50%.

En el minuto 3,16 al 3,18 el operario esta metiendo un rodamiento y se ve claramente que lo golpea con el martillo de ( HIERRO ) asi que por favor no me lo discutan por que tengo razon se mete con maza de plastico o sino con el martillo de ( HIERRO ) pero con la otra mano se sujeta un pedazo de ( BRONCE ) GRACIAS......

@@Tufillas no sé si será ignorancia ó que les obligan a trabajar así, pero bajo normas CE, ISO, etc. no se está trabajando en ese vídeo. Seguro que esos grupos de galets no van a ir montados en la grúa polar de una nuclear, o en otra instalación parecida. Eso se lo aseguro.

Tengo el culo pelao de fabricar y montar gruas y maquinaria para puertos y minas por todo el mundo y ver este vídeo da MUCHA VERGÜENZA AJENA!

@@AragonDubs llevo trabajando en PRL más de 25 años y habré visitado no menos de 2000 empresas. Desde fundiciones hasta los túneles de la M30, pasando por minas en galería y fábricas de automóviles, y te digo que el nivel de competencia de estos trabajadores se ve en muy poquitos sitios. Esta gente seguro que no tiene accidentes (pregunta en Osalan). Por otro lado, si fuese como tú dices ningún cliente les daría proyectos de este nivel. Tu sigue haciendo entrevistas por el libro, pero recuerda el dicho: el que sabe a la mandrinadora y el que no, que ponga ladrillos.
