Watching in 2021 and seeing how much different Scott's videos are edited is crazy
I'd like to know the rod blank as well, there was very little bend for 100lbs of drag
Scott so cool you made it to the east coast of Canada! Cheers from New Brunswick
Honestly amazes me that you released such a valuable and delicious fish. Puts a smile on my face that you could resist keeping it.
Thanks for watching and please "like" the video if you were diggin' it...and don't forget to share it with you buds!

hows the one big boy- he loooks at the dead bait , turns and laughs. thanks for the great underwater feeding habit shots. as you can see the fish are semi selective, that big monster must have been hungry.
Was that John Baritza from Okuma you were fishing with ?
it's 5 in the morning, and I got here from star wars videos 💀
great video thanks for releasing the tuna
My dream fishing trip! Thanks!

Great fishing, I enjoy it. Tks!!!!
Thanks for sharing your video tuna and big fish tuna
Why does your fishing line change from clear to orange so many times?
Great video!
What does pei stand for?
Catch and release, very good!
Impressive. Most impressive!Bearded deck hand-the man, staying on leader-wrapping around his arm!! 2nd deck hand with the gaff, thought he was going to lose the fish bumbling, then I noticed-no hook gaff. Kudos gents!✌
Nice, now I might go fishing soon
Glad it was a catch and release. PEI is their new found feeding ground. They suddenly appeared in droves there after being absent there for 30 years or so. They are so plentiful and hungry that they literally hand feed them herring off the boat. Take care of this beautiful fish.

Yup, tuna loves to get a free lunch! Magnificent giant! Beautiful and very strong fish, she loves travelling thousand miles over the ocean visiting different continents and finally come back to the place it was "born"..
It looks like two different videos spliced into one, the line is orange in one second and then white/opaque in another...
Is this pei as in pei Canada
great job beautiful fish
I like how they make tuna fishing look so hard on Wicked Tuna... then there are tons of KZread videos of guys chumming them up to the boat.

It would be so awesome to make a wish and have it come true: I wish that ALL marine life would return to whatever its greatest population was in the last 2,000yrs.
@barronbon-chance2830

Well you'd have to kill off half the population at least.
1k pound how many in kilograms..and it weighs more under water...what is the weight of the fisherman?
I'm so glad Brandon does the editing now lol
How come the line kept changing color from orange to white and never mixed on the reel?

+tonym1947 THE LEADER LlNE lS VERY LONG, AND lS A DlFFERENT COLOR THAN THE MAlN LlNE. THE FlSH TOOK THE BAlT RlGHT BY THE BOAT AND THEN STRlPPED A LOT OF LlNE OFF THE REEL AS lT RAN. READ THE CAPTlONS ROLLlNG ACROSS THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN WHlLE WATCHlNG THE VlDEO. lT TELLS YOU ALL OF THAT lNFORMATlON. THEY ALSO CAUGHT A TOTAL OF 3 OF THESE BlG TUNA BECAUSE 2 OTHER GUYS PAlD FOR THE CHARTER TOO. THlS VlDEO lS THE SHORT VERSlON. PROBABLY SOME MlXED UP FOOTAGE FROM THE OTHER FlSH MADE lT TO THlS SHORT VERSlON. THE TUNA CAUGHT lN THlS VlDEO FOUGHT FOR AROUND 45 MlNUTES BEFORE BElNG BROUGHT TO THE SlDE OF THE BOAT.
I loved this video .this video was so good.
Really monster fish
Release?
Catch and release?
I remember scuba diving off of Bahia Honda State Park, in the Florida Keys, when a school of these silver-sided monsters went flying by me. They were absolutely intimidating!
I will watch all the episode for wicked tune
Very nice video
was this out of North Lake. The world record tuna, caught on rod and reel was out of this area, some time ago, may have been broken by now. I've seen several 1000 lb tuna out of North Lake, many years ago one was caught out of Annandale while I was there, just over 900 lbs. A cousins brother in law runs fishing tours in PEI. Tight Line tours.
6:40 to see the fish on the surface.
wow so many big tuna very nice good looking
very nice video
Did you sell it to Japan?
Ohhh man , this is crazy

Yeah, nice on the release. Also, very few of these fish die on release. They are usually caught fairly quickly and released in good condition. An exception would be if you have a deep hooked bleeder, which is why most of these guys use circle hooks if they are planning to release the fish.
@doctoredable

Ok "my bad" as they say. Using very heavy tackle and a very large circle hook does enable relatively quick bringing the fish to the boat without undue stress on the fish. The large circle hook will usually result in a "mouth hookup" without causing bleeding. The guys did a great job of releasing this fish.

seelan manowar yeah im sure its fine after having its guts ripped by the hook Not all the time is it caught by the mouth, big fish like that swallow hooks
That is big and heavy fish.😲
I know it is not easy doing fishing videos, but like Wicked Tuna , the line changes colour all the time so not the same fish for the whole Vid , good to see releases thou, there is a fair bit of swapping shots
This is fantasics
Dam that's s big effen tuna. Nice going guys.

Very good fish tun
I deckhand offshore trips and I usually do it only in the summer and in the summer its snapper season. I recently deckhanded a tuna trip and after hauling 20 pound snapper up 100 feet I have to say tuna is light work. I was fighting it like I would do a snapper and the captain was freaking out that it was already up lol. Yeah they were not as big as these tuna but still the ones I caught fought hard. Love fishing!! Great video and always tight lines!!
By the way I have subcribe to your channel thanks for sharing your video
Well done guys
i like it when your dont need them for dinner and throw them back. You could have made some money there but you didnt, very good example. Great vid! Keep those lines tight!
Congrestuletion.. Good joob

Did you guys let the fish go after or keep them? Just curious. :)

this reminds me of the fish farms i used to go to as a kid. the tiny ponds were so stuffed with fish you just plopped your line in and immediately caught a fish. then you had to pay for the fish before leaving after 10 minutes... not fishing by any standards
If you pay attention to the gear he is using you will notice he hooked on to a fish using a red main line but when they pulled the fish up to the boat his main line was white...two different rods and two different catches.
Those tunas are gods.
After all that we don't get to see it pulled in the boat?
Tuna fish are just monsters and fighters
Wow Amazing
What kind of bow do you recommend for doing giant tuna fishing please comment back I did it when I was 16 years old with my boss and now that I am retired I would like to go back and do away I am 53 please comment back thank you very much for this video did you keep the fish or did you let it go
Awesome footage. The BGM, not so much.
