Monster Raptor in Lego Technic Modifications RC Driving Challenges Mould King Motors

Ғылым және технология

The Monster Raptor made in Lego Technic in its lightest and most agile form.
10 motors. Trick air suspension. 4-Wheel 3-point pneumatic steering.
Driving starts at 11:06
No music - Please play your own fav music.
NO air tanks - They’re expensive and the thin pneumatics work as air springs without the extra air tanks.
They have been modified and stick a little, but a lot less than before.
All pneumatic cylinders had the air ports drilled and Teflon grease added.

Optimised compressors - In this video I show how I cut axles to half lengths to allow the full travel of the compressor pumps, and a really simple way to keep the compressor assemblies together.
Conclusions
Diff Locks - It needs diff locks. And a 7th Servo motor.
The Centre of Gravity is high, like a Monster truck, and I need more driving practice.
Good save Mr. Fox.
This model works because about 50 Lego pieces (2000 piece model), were glued together.
Gluing Lego could be utilised as its own building technique. Much more is possible.
If you’ve ever made RC planes, cars, drones or helicopters, you’re OK with gluing stuff.
No complete Lego sets were harmed in the making of this video.
Only a squashed Fox.

Wow Thank You! I think I am going to try to add differential locks and an automatic 2-speed gearbox next. A monster truck must be able to climb over stuff and things.

Mouldking is just as good as lego for a cheaper price and the 6.0 module is a nice piece of bluetooth kit if you don't have the money for a Buwizz 3.0 with 6 ports

They seem good. They're a 2-Cell LiPo 800mAh (I think, from memory). There's 2 on the model. I haven't done any conclusional tests on battery run time, but I once ran 2 large motors with the compressors under load for about 15 mintes before the battery box turned itself off.

@@ninjabandages1885 I just kept the motors, pretty bad for me. I think Knockoff red motors are better than Mould king's

@@ninjabandages1885 I've got over 10 hours playtime and the motors and batts are fine. I'm not promoting MK. No arse-licking here. What on earth did you do you your toys?
