G’day Wayne just back from the Daly was down there 9 nights 3 in the boat 6 in rooftop tent even had to use the doona haha cheers mate..😝🦀🦀🎣👍

Wow fantastic video Andy those crab were big and the cook up looked beautiful. If the restaurants down there seen you cooking they would have offered you a job haha 😊. My grandfather was sent by the army from Sydney to rebuild the wharf after it was bombed as he was a cabinet maker and carpenter. He always said Darwin was the best place he had ever been. I believe him I have been here 25 years this month. I got a feed Wednesday morning. Got a rock cod a big mullet and a feed of garfish. I also got a Barra on a live garfish unfortunately about low 40s off the beach threw it back 😊

I cooked a prawn curry tonight Andy! it wasn’t all that …! Looks like I should have been at the wharf and scabbed a claw off me mate 😂 that looked so delicious boy oh boy eating the fruits of your efforts is something special and wow they were some whoppers ! G'day Andy, The rains flush them out of their hidey holes so I am not surprised you got amongst them. We catch crabs in the Bohle River too after rain quality and quantity. Fresh chicken frames or fish frames the go. Dad use to swear by brolga. But that was the old days. Every 2 hours is the check time for us give em a good soak. Copperhead Road a legendary tune. The crabs can get that thick they are also hangin on the outside of the pots. The weather is starting to cool down with the odd hot day thrown in and sunrise and sunsets to live for. The dam is full that is good for us. Maybe one more blast of wet weather and then we head for cool and dry spell. Great location for chilli crab cook up. Sweet chilli sauce and soy sauce would have taken it to the next level with a squeeze of lemon. Coconut milk really makes it delicious. Get stuck into a couple of lollipops for me. The Major BB🎩🔪🦀🦀🦀🦀🤙👍👌
