Fantastic mate. I wanted to put my boat on tyres when i re painted my trailer. Thought stuff it. So i just hand painted it while the boat was still on it hahaha. Come up pretty well. Good when you have friends that that can help you out. I know i needed them at the time. Well done 👌

G'day Andy and Stig, It seems the overall structural integrity of the trailer is good. I haven't heard of denzo tape for your axel. I religiously wash mine with fresh water and haven't had any rust on it. It is galvanised as well. But other parts of the trailer have had rust cut out and small sections replaced. Particularly the back bar closest to the motor. They make trailers better these days so salt water doesn't get trapped and easy to rinse. I do have rollers and you periodically have to grease them to get boat off smoothly. Wheel bearings are constant maintenance. Oaks appears ok after the man flu. The Major BB🎩🤙🎣

Good morning Mr Major yes I haven’t seen denzo tape for many many years when I was in western QLD working around the gas lines they use to wrap all the under ground pipes in Denzo tape so it makes sense. I couldn’t believe how good the old trailer was after all the years. Thanks mate really appreciate you sharing your experience & appreciate your genuine comments.. It was great to see Oaks..🤩..☔️🎣👍

Thanks Andy for another great video, The trailer does an amazing job considering its age. Good to see Vic off road putting their hand up to help out. I'm looking at getting a RTT for the trip up in February. looking at the San Hima Kalbarri , are you getting the gen 2 V2.0 version ? Hope you get it soon will be handy to see. Might require another trip to Stigs to help attach it. bring on the rain 🎣🎣

G’day Neil always great to hear from you and to hear your plans even better. Mate I’ve never really thought about a RTT but now one is coming I’m that bloody excited and it’s the Kalbarri V2. I’ve paid for freight (not cheap) guess it’ll be coming by truck & hopefully it gets here before the roads get cut & yes I’ll need the Stig to put on some lugs. Ive also brought a 250w solar panel of Vic off Road just want to maximise charging the battery while it’s parked for days at the boat ramps.. I’ll def be doing full reviews (it’s a great looking product) cheers mate happy travels..☔️🎣👍 PS I’ll use it all the time can’t wait..👍

@@andytotalcarnage8763 being a ford owner I can only have 100kgs on the roof, rack is 20kgs so RTT has to be about 70kgs max. Planning on having a fish at shady camp this year and camping at the ramp camp ground

Yep Neil logistically that’s a really easy option also unpowered site at the jabiru caravan park to fish the south or Merl campground to fish the east. The bark hut is ok but the price of fuel with the extra k’s is a killer cheers mate and happy & safe travels….🤞🎣👍

@@andytotalcarnage8763 thanks Andy, l have stayed at Jabiru and fished the South on spring tides. I haven’t fished any of the other rivers. Weather dependent l might stop in at the Daly on the way home if it doesn’t clash with any comps on the river. Pretty casual approach to it all, normally works out ok 🎣🎣
