This video made me incredibly hungry! I thought last week's video with the goat was crazy, but the food you ate in this week's video looked amazing! All the tacos seemed tasty, I'd have to say I would love to try the cheesy one with no taco shell. It just oozed with cheese grease, definitely up my alley. That sandwich was also enormous! How does one even eat something like that? I can't believe they make something that big. The chicharrones at the end were very unique, there was a lot of meat on those! Another great video, looking forward to next week 🙂

There are two kinds of family feuds in Monterrey. One is for the soccer teams and the other is for the chicharronerías. That's how big chicharron culture is over there 😋🙋‍♂

Son muy ricas las tortas madero y que bueno que les gusto la comida de Monterrey porque cada estado tiene sus comidas tradicionales y los chicharrones son muy ricos son San Juan, Ramos y Mendez segun donde te gusten más pero comelos con tortilla tacos de pura tripita o de molleja 😋 ye van a gustar mas la tostada de la siberia la toenes que mesclar y comerla con la ptra tostada segun se valla acabando

Siiiiii son riquísimos los chicharrones 🤤 ya sean Ramos o Mendez, con su tortillitas de maiz y su salsita, visita obligada cada vez que voy, casi enfrente de Mendez JR. hay una tortillería y paso por mis tortillas, para hacerme mis taquitos 😋

OMG. I tried the Sonora-style scrambled eggs machaca burritos and they were amazing. They're ideal for takeout to be eaten at luch hour as they stay delicious even hours later, which is harder to achieve with tacos due to the less flexible nature of corn tortillas. And burritos are less messy. I still preffer corn tortillas... Especially hand-made tortillas from south Mexico's native varieties of corn. Nothing compares to the amazing taste and texture of those, in my opinion.

Agreed, there's something special about the handmade tortillas of the south. We've eaten our fair share of them by now and there's sooooo good 😋🤤 we loved trying some of the different food in the north as well, the variety is quite different!!

​@@HungryTwoTravelyou need to visit a northeastern restaurant in Monterrey named Jonuco o Vernacular not only tacos. Machacado is typical of Nuevo León State. You need to visit restaurant from Pariente located in the towns that are near of Monterrey. The northeast cuisine is delicious now is a boom related to it.

You have come to the north, if you go to Chihuahua try the Mennonite cheese pizza in the Mennonite community. If you go to Sonora try the monster size hot dogs and the Percheron huge tortilla burritos. If you go to Tijuana go to the Chinese community, don’t go to the tourist zone lol. While in Monterey look for discada, alambre and go to the Korean community for Korean-Mexican fusion food.

@@miguelangelquezada6404 Soy de Monterrey y si estas en lo correcto, solo es que hay zonas muy variadas en la ciudad (ya que monterrey solo es un municipio y aqui se conectan como 6 jajaja). La gente Regia siempre dirá que aqui lo bueno o lo que siempre hacemos, es la carnita asada. Basicamente los cortes de carne de res de cualquier buen Steakhouse. Y si, hay zonas donde la discada y el alambre son predominantes (como Apodaca), tambien zonas de comida Coreana-Mexicana (como lo es Pesqueria,NL.), incluso la fama del dichoso cabrito asado (ese se supone es de Monterrey pero sinceramente las nuevas generaciones casi no consumimos cabrito). En fin como en todo mexico pues hay mucha variedad, pero aqui en Monterrey siempre vamos a presumir nuestra carne asada (y discada y chicharron tambien aunque a algunos les duela jajajaja)

To eat properly te Siberian tostada, you have to mix all the ingredients to make a some "chiken paste" and then put the vinegsr of the jalapeños and then, you could make 2 tostadas, and finally you got better flvour taste!! And the way to eat chicharron, its in a tortilla as a taco...

Too bad you guys only went to the center and surroundings.. .in just few short minutes you could have gone to Tacos Sonora on Ave Aztlan.. far from the city.. dirt cheap and the best tasting tacos in Monterrey.... and you definitely should have tried the gringa"s or tacos de trompo, which you might know as "al pastor" but without the stupid pineapple on it.....All in all a good review of well known places here in Monterrey...

Chicharroneria MENDEZ JR is a fail! .. You should have had a better gastronomy tour guide to grab your chicharrones,.. LA RAMOS is where is at! .. @JUANRGB .. spot on brother! In Monterrey, there can be a proper discussion for who's got the best chicharrones between SAN JUAN and LA RAMOS, but MENDEZ JR is way below that tier..

Well Im from Monterrey I dont know you visit that place for a tostada when the original has a lot of restaurant named Siberia. Even I, I will not for that zone. Its safe but not the area to visit. On the other hand for me its not any special, there are better toast with beans, chicken, tomato, lettuce, acid cream, cheese, etc
