if you went there for two years it means you went in 2018 did you went to the Early shows or the Late shows? late shows had no Zoomies nor Zoomie headers

Dennis Anderson in World Finals 5 did the same thing when he got a score he though should've been lowered, I hate the fans get to score, it should still be 6 judges only

Let's have the freestyle runs be judged by little kids who have never driven a monster truck in their lives, and heavy biases toward the only trucks that ever get promoted by the business. What could *possibly* go wrong?

The problem is that fans only really care about wow factor they don’t really see skilled moves as good moves

Cause it’s mostly kids🤦🏼‍♂️ You expect a little kid to know what good momentum is, filling the time, including everything like big air, slap wheelies, donuts, combos, etc. They’re there to see these big trucks fly through the air and to crazy flips and stuff.

Zero G they had professional judges. The only time they had ran judges was the early 2000s and the small stadiums

Here’s a great idea, bring back the format where you have 5 regular judges and you drop the high and low score out of the 5 judges and the 3 count. Then add what the fans say (to the nearest whole number) to make it better. Use what New Orleans used when Morgan Kane won. It’s the perfect format

@@Gozi_Arrik they dont make him. Tom Meents asks monster jam if he can do it. Besides, grave got a 20th 25th 30th and 35tg anniversery encore. Tom Meents is the only 12 time champion, so I think after his work he derserves to celebrate.

Honestly the fan judging ruined everything like in Orlando Florida in the skills challenge and freestyle Todd Leduc Lindsey Week Camden Murphy Heavy D got booed at and in Las Vegas Nevada in the best trick Tom Meents and Tyler Menniga even Jim Koehler one of those could of one and in freestyle Bari Musawwir had a low score look what Colton Eichelberger did and Tyler Menniga they had good runs and even Jim Koehler Lindsey Read and Adam Anderson hit 5 hits and got the lead i have an issue with it and in Atlanta in 2018 Todd Leduc lost the championship because of the judging I agree they should maybe got back to the real judges

Yes and no. Extreme Diesel was the first diesel truck to run in Monster Jam but he ran an Ethanol motor at Monster Jam events because he wasn’t allowed to run the Diesel motors due to emission regulations. Brodozer is the first truck to run a diesel motor in monster jam

NO it isn't.

For many years monster jam has been the most heart stopping, breath taking motorsport ever. Ever since I was a little kid I always liked monster jam I seeing those trucks in action is just incredible looking at these guys makes me wish I was a monster jam driver. These guys inspired me when I just a toddler they always like to go big, these guys never let thier fear get in the way the confidence of these drivers how they are able to make these amazing wow moments is just outstanding. This is why we love monster jam

I hadn't seen this event until now, but I knew going in that the new 30 second rule was put in place because of this event, and its very clear to see why. I actually really liked this event. I think that having this kind of team based competition is a really cool idea and something that MJ had never done before, especially one centered around a draft and touching on multiple events so some drivers could focus on their strengths. It was great and also very intense to watch. When freestyle started, it also occurred to me once Bari went over the triple that this is a classic Sam Boyd Freestyle track and its awesome. I've had criticisms of the tracks in the last couple of years, but this one just nails it. And then Cynthia Gautier made her jump and got 1st place and the entire mood changed.

I don't have an issue with trucks going out and making huge moves and crashing early - as an Avenger fan. But what I don't like is when they claim the leaderboard for 2/3rds of the shows runtime. Like Kane was saying, I couldn't believe that one jump was able to beat out full runs with so much excitement. Needless to say, Menninga was completely robbed, and I don't usually say things like that. The other problem is that when those runs do well, they start to convince drivers that that's all that they need to do in order to win, as it influenced Gautier. Additionally, while I love Jim Koehler, his run cemented the fact that it works, it wasn't just bias towards one particular driver.

You could tell while watching that the fans messed up on this one, and then Adam Anderson's run comes in and takes first place. I was stunned the same way everyone was in the shot that immediately followed the score reveal. Tyler's full run with loads of air, wow moments and skill gets pushed down by single move runs, and the only thing to beat it was Adam's minute-long run with less air on every jump than the ones before it. Adam Anderson is great, but there's no way his run should have taken first. I don't think it was Graver Digger bias, so much as it was the fans trying to back-pedal so that they didn't hand over the winning run to Gautier for her one jump. I think myself and others are just happy that Ryan managed to salvage the remainder of freestyle with a good run.

With every major event between WF and this in the last few years, there tends to be one or more major controversy that comes out of it, and it tends to be because of Freestyle. It's clear that MJ is in kind of an experimental phase right now and it can come at the expense of one of these shows ending in a bitter way. The 30 second rule is a nice touch, but feels more like a band-aid than a real solution. Like others have mentioned, I think having the fan score be a part of the overall score but not all of it is a good idea. Having some professional judging might make the competition seem a bit more consistent in the future, as well as bringing back bonus time as an incentive to deliver a full run rather than a straight punishment for doing the opposite, because that's what the scores should be for.

I can't believe I missed out on watching this video when it was live this time! Well, I was just busy with other things today, but still, I mentioned on the Friday premiere that I would come back here as soon as it started playing. So I am making up for that by saying in this video's comments section that my dad and I went to this event on both Friday and Saturday. The Vegas Style racing on this night was cool, and so was freestyle! I had fun with fan judging on my dad's iPhone 6 Plus. Coty Saucier in the pickup truck version of Monster Energy had an amazing final race win, and Ryan Anderson in Son-Uva Digger had a fantastic freestyle win, even though he almost filled the clock; in fact, once I gave him a 9.25, almost the whole crowd, including me, were very thrilled. The second the crowd started to cheer for the freestyle winner, I went, "YES, GOAL!!" My dad and I had awesome father-and-son times! Sadly, this was the last time he and I ever went to the Sam Boyd Stadium for Monster Jam shows. He and I had a good run since 2010 when we were at the Monster Jam World Finals 11, which I really enjoyed, but a lot of things have been changing this year, so it was time to move on. We can always watch this event on KZread as well as all the other Monster Jam events that took place at this stadium including the Monster Jam World Finals 1-19!

Bari should have been so much higher than those one-hit wonders. Even the best trick winner was dumb. Fan Judging should be a part of the score but not the only score. So you could have say 3 official judges and the fan judging could be the 4th score for a max of 40 points. I also miss bonus time because it incentivized drivers to fill their time to score better.

Fan Judging - easy way for fans to rig the scores so their favorite truck wins, if you dont understand that, they can vote a 10 for every truck they like, and a 1 or 0 for all the others regardless of the run.

What happened monster jam? 2019 you were making these awesome tracks WITH CRUSH CARS and 2021 rolls around and you make these sad repetitive dirt courses! You were doing so good! WHY?!?

Dear Monster Jam, If you are reading this, then I would like to ask you to please remove fan judging, or at the very least, make the World Finals scored by professional judges, and have every other until then have fan judging. The fan judging system can easily be exploited by fans to get their favorite truck, or trucks if they have several, to win, and then they can give literally every other truck the lowest score. This especially can be a problem with trolls. Fan judging allows fans to make drivers who aren't very talented win a freestyle by a landslide. So, please, remove Fan Judging, because if you don't fans are gonna start leaving and not returning.

I wish the commentators would stop saying "great save" when it is clearly pure luck. Example: Kristen Anderson rolled Grave Digger and the truck sat ther teetering then slowly rolled upright, there was no turning the wheels or throttle action to make that happen, just luck
