Actually, I watched a vid a while back where they do in fact have femto cameras. I may not have pronounced that correctly but any case you could watch photons flowing through and bouncing within things. I think it might have been on a ted talks video.

You should do a video where you secretly record your neighbors reacting to lightning bolts leaping from inside and outside your house! You'd be my favorite neighbor!

You need a high frame rate camera so we can see details in the motion of the arc. Your videos are amazing and your accent just makes it the epitome of manliness.

That last piece with all the HT gear and vacuum interrupters etc was Andy's front garden. lol.

We both have all the footage, I edited my version first :) There are a couple of other bits and bobs not released yet, we had the transformer running on a variable frequency motor drive, sounds strange when it runs on that!

In have followed you from the beginning. I am an electrical engineer, and I know you too are such as I. I know that safety is a big thing with you, and I hope your videos entice the younger ones into the trade.

The concept is that the arc starts at the bottom and then ionized air (which is more conductive than normal air) is created and rises up, allowing the arc to go further.

I love the bit at 2:38 where aintbigaintclever says "that looks f**king awesome!". Great stuff Andy, great to see new content pal, really looking forward to this TV appearance too.

That was pretty neat watching that Jacob's Ladder! My horses got a little freaked out at the sound of the Arc climbing the ladder.

Has to be one of my favourite video's from Photon. Along with the 300.000 V Tele Zapp . Feat Smashy the Hammer . I love the Giant Jacobs ladder in the garden or Failure , or is it. The sound of the humm of an Excess of power. When I visit Churchfields Main Sub 33/11 kV ( Beddington Hurst ) Grid . With 4 Ferranti subs , at least two of them singing their song .
