I think it's also important to note that the 'Daily' skills are based on the in-game day, not real life day. They will recycle after each completed quest.

Life saver here

Just after the main campaign I realised I could walk around pirate cat´s table and get his canteen upgrade quests. So I had 40 hours worth of gathering quests all at once which would have been stretched out better normally.

lol I made that same mistake at first but figured it out within an hour or two. It sucks they don't make it more obvious you can walk around since the Canteen buffs are nice to have.

So helpful. Was completely ignoring the custom platter mechanic because it seemed daunting. Not anymore thanks to you, Paradise!

I try to avoid the canteen as the dishes look so amazing it makes me hungry D:

I just wish there was an option for making custom platers that would take lets say "blue fish" or "red meat". putting these in a plater would prioritize any fresh ingredients in that category if not it would just put a regular ingredient in. this would save so much time hunting down if you have any fresh ingredients if any...

Pro tip fat cat doesn’t stack with the lucky voucher! I tried it yesterday and only the lucky voucher doubled my money lol

You should start putting maximum DPS builds versus certain tempered monsters. For example: A build for farming Teostra, Val Hazaak etc.

That was super helpful! Just two questions though: what determines if ingredients are fresh? Is it just randomly determined between quests? Also, can you give more details about how the fresh ingredients and skill activation mechanics work? What do those icons/progress bars at the bottom mean? How do you read all that stuff when they are highlight or not, etc. Is there a way to know for sure (without a voucher) that skills will activate, or is it still only a chance even when those icons are filled? Thanks!

the thing about moxie is that it doesnt guarantee you survive that hit. many hits that would really take most of your health away are not single hits, like nergigante's ult or val hazaks breath. so the first 'hit' would bring you to 1 health but then the second would kill you. its only really useful if you get stunned and fire-balled or something

The "50 Stamina" from one ingredient is only later in the game after you've progressed further in the story. From the beginning if you use one ingredient to request a dish you'll get a much smaller stamina bonus from the meal.

Thank God you made this video! I've never bothered with the custom shit cuz I had no idea what any of that meant and nobody else explained it in their canteen videos it just say eat to stuff use fresh ingredients. I'm only missing the drink from rrrruble in the wastes Most ingredients are from quest, some are rare gathering points, there are also unique gathering points on every map that only show during increased gathering of like toughskined fruit or cacti (places with account items so 2 unique ingredients per map) that only show up in one place on the map. If the flourishing doesn't show up in certain maps you can use investigations to make points flourishing

I'd an investigation on how the Hunting Horn songs stacks with other boosting effects to see if I'm supporting as best as possible.

What does the "Guest" icon mean on some of the food? Also, look for a video titled "Monster Hunter World - 10 Hidden Ingredients!" to see some very rare ingredients that have certain conditions required to acquire them.
