Was he in this video? Am I tripping and just can't see him? I was very distracted playing MHGU while watching so I'ma have to watch it again. But that makes me so happy that he's back. He such a badass monster nab, especially the Boltreaver Astalos. If you played MHGU then you know what I'm talking about, or at MHG, he was in both so.

Event quests stop March 25th and resume sometime after Sunbreak has had time to be experienced. However, collabs will always happen through those quests because it’s capcom.

Well done to Capcom for having the one reveal that's managed to make me momentarily take my eyes away from Elden Ring. This is going to be great.

Me too! My first time playing the series. I think the trial has done a much better job getting me invested than any previous MH demo, which were always way over my head. Letting people sink into the game for a few days is perfect.

@@xiongkuniu agreed! I also tried the demo ver but it didnt hook me in. I did get MHW with iceborne on ps4. At least I am familiar with the gameplay loop. This trial definitely has made me a fan of the Rise mechanics. I love zipping around with the wirebugs then leading onto a wall run. Had a battle where I dodged into a tree, wall ran around it and hopped off to safety. 🤣 whoa ok mah dude

Its mainly to do with Rise' initial themes - to have monsters based on folk tales/mythology. The base game was Japanese folklore monsters, Sunbreak is western themed mythology.

So me have a Vampire Dragon, a Frankenstein Beast and an Icy Werewolf, this game is more golden age of horror than I thought.

Given his name is Garangolm I think he might be more of a reference to the Golem or Behemoth. Given that its more folklore/fantasy themed instead of pop culture (frankenstein is a piece of more modern fiction)

As per the past 20 years, this will be the only major paid content/expansion. Prior to mhw, those expansions were a second "ultimate" release about a year later, it just evolved to a major expansion dlc instead. Maybe free dlc monster but as far as expansions, this is it

@@jackjohnson8305 We're 3 for 4 on the Fated Four now and we even got VALSTRAX back in 3.0, so it's not too out there that we could get Gammoth back on New Gen and potentially get Glavenus back.

I’m so happy to see Astalos again!! And I can’t wait to see if those goblin-looking pack wyverns have goblin-looking armour!

Looking forward to new fashion options.

We need more forest and jungle locales in Monster Hunter Rise. Bring back Deserted Island, Old Jungle, and Ancestral Steppe Capcom.

We need water back in the game. It feels cheesy not being able to swim. Even if you can't fight in the water at least make is so the dog can do the battling while on him in the water at least. Or add a fish buddy for water levels. Something at least.

That's just basically what they did with Monster Hunter worlds(which is the game that came before this one) DLC Iceborne. They added an extra few hours of gameplay and that looks to be what Sunbreak is doing!
