Yes, the Switch should be doing better, I'm not one to sugar coat and I admit, it is sadly looking a pretty dated console these days. But, Capcom have done their Best and it looks decent enough. Plus Gameplay 1st always; this at least is no 2.5D indie!

Been waiting so long for this. Worth the wait.

As a World player, kinda sad this game is only available on the Switch. However, I am still happy they are returning the QoL updates as well as experimenting with new tools in a portable Switch version. Also, Magnamalo looks sick.

This has the shot of innovation classic MonHun has been needing for a while while staying true to the classics. Thank God for the less realistic armor and weapons coming back

@@termofor6044 I think what they mean is how Monster Hunter World/Iceborne's focus is on realism. But the previous games are a bit more over the top (almost a little cartoony at times), like some of the old weapons designs were kinda hilarious (like the Tigrex bowgun that was designed to look like a mini tank).

ill tell you what. i love the mechanics of the game the style of gameplay but this game just looks awefull. and to think about it it will cost 60/70 euro for something that looks like a ps2 game. the game has fps drops in the trailer already with swinging on something not even in a fight. i realy wish the game will be better than that but right now what im seeing is money milking

Monster Hunter was always a portable and home console release game I knew it would make it back eventually the pattern had been there for years. I've been hunting since Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and I can't be more excited for this game. Happy hunting!

my biggest issue with this is if the hunter decides to say something i wouldn't. imagine if the voice you pick has them saying nasty things about nice people, or something something really out of place. if i have a custom character, i would prefer they mostly stay silent as otherwise it becomes less of a "Custom" character

i know GenU is a port, but it's still a good game regardless. aren't interested, that's fine, but it's a great showcase of practically all the games that came before world and you shouldn't pass it up just because it's a "port"

@@LucasTigy2 Oh MHGU is one of the greatest MH games made, but there's something especially exciting about the first mainline MH title designed from the ground up for the Switch (and only the Switch). It is a gift to developers to have to optimize towards the specs of only one set of hardware, and he Switch is such a good fit for the MH series

I have never owned a Nintendo, the games never spoke to me been squarely in the PlayStation corner. But then I clocked 1500hrs and counting in MHW. So I guess you just won yourself a new fan, will be getting a lite to play monster hunter everywhere.

Despite all outrage from PS4/PC players I just love how this looks. Like, it’s just our good old MH we all know and love but with some modern touch of MHW. Also it have such strong vibes of MH3rd with all this Japanese aesthetics..

The visuals are stunning, wow

The theme for this one is looking nice. Looks just straight up fun.

As a MH fan, this made me smile 😊 Played FU, portable3rd on the PSP and 4U and XX on the 3DS. When he said "This is for my fellow hunters" it made me proud.. I think that flagship monster killed many hunters on that rampage thing they said on this game. Alright fellow hunters! Time to move at Kamura Village! ❤️

@@Element-rb6ez You don't know about those guys that think the clunky weightless combat, bad camera and controls. The constant loading screens from going to different segmants on the map which get tedious. The fact that you have to do a stupid animation when you heal in the old games which gets you hit. All of this is what capcom improved on world and people think its cool to hate it and describe how the new features and major improvements to the core gameplay ruins the games. Same with rise, any new feature they add to make the gameplay better is a negative for them.

@@wolfblade6569 Likely can. Been able to name the cats and you can have multiple dogs (so if one is unable to be named, should be able to name the second one).

I'm sure I will love this entry and will probably pre-order it.. though I'm not very convinced on climbing mechanics

Well ive never owned a switch but after playing monster hunter world anx iceborne expansion and putting 700,000 hours into that game, and now seeing this trailer looks like ill be getting a swtich soon

It's offiical, folks... Monster Hunter Rise (exclusively for Nintendo Switch) will be powered by a modified RE Engine!!!!

Will the controls be like that of MHW? I'm been used to the new easier controls compared to the pre-MHW controls.

I trully, trully hope that given the new bug and clearly aerial improvement combat style they add or bake some of the "aerial" hunting style on to all weapons, there where some neat things they could do with that, wich brings me to the next, i hope they bring back hunting styles, perhaps not as in picking out one but instead baking the ones that work the best for each weapon, as much as i loved the styles they also sometimes feelt way to gimmicky, they where cool but clearly some were just "to" good in comparison to others, im also hoping some of the old hunting arts make it back as bar/charge/timed powers (like the wyvern fire or spirit slash)

Monster Hunter world was the worst selling Monster Hunter in Japan. It appealed to the west more.

I will definitely miss Generations Ultimate over the top visual effects tho. Ps. And the colors too!

they were over the top because they were originally made for a small 3ds screen. big effects help you see what you did better
