About that doll Operetta is a 2010-introduced and all-around character. As the daughter of the Phantom of the Opera, she is a France-born but Gnarleston-raised phantom and these days a student at Monster High.

@@AJ_the_great1223 Well, none of the monster high characters are canonical in their parents' story, so there's not really a point in getting upset by it because you would have to be upset by the whole franchise.

The doll is Operetta who is the daughter of the phantom of the opera. The filigree is her version of her "fathers" scarring

@@TheActor949 depends on the version your talking about. The original version she was just a gorgon, just an antagonistic monster. But one writer guy (I forget who) came in and said “screw that. The gods suck” and rewrote Medusa to be the version you’re talking about. I prefer the newer version, but it’s not the original or only version of her story

The red ghost straight-up murdering medusa and showing off the head, while giggling about it, is the best thing ever.

I love the finished piece! She does look a little shocked at the comb, but possibly secretly pleased...! 🤣 I like the snake hair - derpy but cool. Would you do it in polymer clay next time to get thinner snakes?

I love to do these! That looks like an Operetta doll, phantom of the operas kid. I have a huge stock box full of these dolls and there arms and shoes. Let me know if you need more. Use a flat head screwdriver and scrape the inside of the head to remove the hair and then grab the clumps with pliers. You rocked it for trying it for the first time!!!

Omg Medusa looks SO good

I ADORE this statue!! She looks wonderful!!!

It’s easier to remove the old hair if you use a flat head screwdriver (or similar tool) and scape it along each row of hair plugs, it pulls the hair and glue out in one motion and then you can pull out the detached hair out the neck hole in large clumps. Just a small tip that helps it go faster. Great job btw!😄

I love how half of Loon’s toy makeover videos are just him playing with and destroying the toys.

The finished piece actually turned out to be really fun to look at. THOUGH, I gotta say, my height of entertainment was just seeing the weird way you had Operetta move in the beginning there. At one moment it looked like she was moving around the same way Red Guy used to in 'Cow and Chicken', butt bouncing her way around your table. [Also, your snek friend is adorable. 💛]

As a Monster High fan who would kill for a Friday Night's Fright Operetta doll, I appreciate your skills. And also!! There are two gorgon Monster High characters. There's Deuce, the sun of Medusa, and Viperine, Deuce's cousin! The doll you used was of Operetta, born in France and moved to New Goreleans when she was a kid. She's the daughter of the Phantom of the Opera! I just beg of you to make sure you don't torment a collector doll

Oh boy, if Loon has this much fun moving a Monster High doll around, imagine him with a Made To Move Barbie! X3

Love it! I hope to see more monster high customizations. I discovered that surgical forceps work wonders for getting the hair out but also scraping the plugs before pulling them out also significantly helps the process.

Oh! She's the roller skating version! I had her when I was a Lil kid and recognize the dress

To remove the hair, try scraping the pliers against the glue before pulling out the plugs. You get more out at once that way. Also, I love the way you made the skirt look like actual fabric, it's really cool.

As someone who watches full time doll customizing channels like dollightful and dollmotion, the abuse is pretty much par for the course. In fact, the mods here are pretty minor compared to what they do to their dolls lol
