@@The_Glorious_Goat Yea. You have to specifically ask for the paper cups. But some workers are just jerks. Starbucks has a company policy of giving free plastic cups of water/ice water or paper cups of hot water of any size for free bc they think everyone should have access to safe water and so moms can get warm/hot water to make bottles for their baby while out. It’s just something that’s part of their philosophy of being part of the community that’s really nice Starbucks is actually well known for. But I’ve had workers at one of the stores near me want to charge for it like fast food restaurants & gas stations do.😒 Wanted to charge me the same price as a large black coffee!🤨 I understand that the cost of cups, straws, etc does factor into the profits for each store but unless loads of people are coming in and asking for lots of them I can’t see where giving a few paper cups to someone could possibly cost a store enough to matter. Especially considering they give them & even the plastic cups out for free if filled with water.🤷🏻‍♀️ Although I’m sure if painting/drawing on them becomes a popular big trend in an area those stores may start at least limiting the number to one per person. Which would make sense. But I don’t see customizing paper Starbucks’ cups becoming such a massive mainstream activity for that to occur. I think he…or rather his girlfriend..had the misfortune of encountering an employee who was a jerk. Either that or the owner of that store is a stingy cheap wad jerk. Goodness knows I’ve encountered *far too many* of both types since my husband has worked his way up in food service over the last 15yrs! I don’t know what it is about the restaurant industry but far more of the managers & owners I’ve encountered are mean, rude cheapskates who tend to cut corners in what they give customers & are even cheaper when it comes to paying employees!!🤨😒 And then those same people wonder why customers complain & why such places can’t keep decent employees.🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ Sorry…such workers, managers & owners tick me off.

My husband can often be the same way. He doesn’t like asking for things such as these free cups. It’s only been in the last 3-4yrs that he has gotten better about even getting places to correct small or even not so small mistakes in food/drink orders. It’s funny how we are so much alike in most ways except this: As long as it’s not anyone I know I have no issue asking for free items like these cups or asking a place to correct even small mistakes with an order(if it will affect my/my husband’s ability to enjoy what was ordered). However I become *far* more hesitant/awkward if it’s someone I know that I have to ask. While my husband is the complete exact opposite! But since for the most part we know the same people at least one of us in either situation is willing to ask for things or request something is fixed!😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ In my case it’s bc I don’t care what strangers may think of me or my request. But when it’s someone I know personally or even someone I’m aware is close to someone I know personally I *do* care what they think and thus am hesitant. While he worries what those who don’t personally know him might make of his request. In either case it shouldn’t matter but that’s just social awkwardness for you! It generally makes little to no logical sense.🤷🏻‍♀️😕🤷🏻‍♀️

If you do it again. Definitely keep the doing your characters you've done them along with the logo. I have to say this is the first Starbucks cup, Redo that I really enjoyed. Not that the other ones were not good... because they were. But I truly loved the characters etc. . And yes you did well with trevor as well!!

Also, Loon's Graveyard needs to be a thing. Maybe an ongoing project. A diorama of a graveyard would be really cool. You should make a video on creating the environment, another one for the headstones, another for different creatures.
