In 1987 skateboarding was in awe of the Animal Chin ramp. But THIS, THIS is...?...is...? I have no words. I feel so blessed to have been skating for 37 years now. I am humbled that God has gifted me with a body that has held up to the endless abuse tha comes with the greatest invention of all time: the skateboard. I am stoked to haved lived long enough to have watched these athletes push and push and push the craft to a level my 1985 self could not have even ever imagined.

i swear, Gui makes the 900 look so friggin effortless.

Ive always loved that this is a competition yet every skater is there to hype up each other. Always happy when one skater scores a great run. Its Incredible.

This isn't at the "X-Games Events" It's in a dude's backyard. It's NOT a "public event" anymore for the fans. Shameful. These events USE TO BE HELD at the actual X-Games. Now the fans can only watch it on TV unless you're one of Sloan's friends. Shameful.

His desire to always do the craziest tricks definitely hinders his consistency. He just needs to find the balance between crazy tricks and consistent comp skating

it's definitely hard for me to watch, especially knowing that he's been decently consistent from 2017 through 2019. now he's completely going for broke, which definitely means he's sacrificing consistency. that being said, i don't think he's super fixated on comp results.

I’m not very familiar with this mega stuff. It seems to me like wearing gloves makes gripping the board MUCH easier when spinning it.

That was a fake X-Games acct. broadcasting live, then after a few minutes asking to click on the private link to continue watching it live in HD. Probably a scam trying to get money by having people pay to watch their Stream.
