Love watching the Big Yellow Giants wake up

I remember being kid with my dad. All these beautiful machines cutting grade. Spent my summers with the mechanics greasing snd fueling these big csts!!! Thank you dad for the memories!!

Same here brother, but on a strip mining jobs, big stuff there. And road coal trucks with my uncle and cousins, no wonder I still have diesel running through me. Mack trucks and Cat equipment, the brands that built this country, along with others of course but these are my favorites

Makes me think of that ABC made for TV movie Killdozer, that was a D9 CAT.

Love your channel! I think that I've been a subscriber for almost a year now. Brings back fond memories of working with my Grand Dad, my Dad and my brothers, farming here in the the greater Salt River Valley. My Grandfather moved from California to Phoenix in the early 1940's and continued his earthmoving, farming and custom tillage business. I want to go on and on rather, I must say seeing those vise grips on the battery post was always an excellent quick temporary fix. I can't reiterate enough how much I enjoy ALL Caterpillar brand crawlers, tractors etc. Warmest Regards from Chandler, Az.

I like the sound of the D(G when it is under load and working hard..

I remember helping dad weld new growser bars on the tracks of one these. Took all day, cutting and grinding the old bars or what was left of them off, welding new ones on.

Made my day. Thanks for sharing

They were a great dozer! I worked on many engines at Ohio machinery years ago. I bet it would be close to 100,000 dollars for a major engine overhaul today..

Ferdinand Brown ,Hi,I saw your comment and started laughing.I've always wanted one as well. I would dig a hole in the lot next door ,bury it and then dig another. I wouldn't tell my wife until after I bought it. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Lots of Dozer there, I love 'em but I am near deaf these days from those big, old Cats. The new ones are much quieter, thank God.

I think I have a dumb question: Is this a 4-way blade? In other words, does it tilt at all? I can see there are hydraulic cylinders on each side so it seems possible if they can work independently, but all I can see in the video is lifting straight up and down. Thanks!

Looks like the blade could tilt as it was a bit outta square when he pulled up.

love the old machines but hey take it easy on turns as I can turn much smother with a old one like this. cought hell if I tore up ground where I worked. but love to see any old one run.

Dick around on an old machine like that for a few hours and something is bound to happen.

Spoiler alert, man takes dozer for drive, I didn’t notice it being unleashed on anything except a small area of turf, barely changed the engine note, the engine was working harder to do a tight turn! Unleash it next time, push a blade full of dirt, make the engine note change to show its working harder than just driving! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Getting sprayed with hydraulic oil sucks it stinks gets everywhere and if your working remote you gotta wear it all day gross
