Dude, you're a natural at this. The pose is very dynamic, you didn't waste time sculpting a hidden leg, and you just taught me how to sculpt scales... I really hope you do more projects like this.

Great build! It's a different side of your talent: I think of you as the guy who does the cool terrain builds, I'll have to go through your catalog.

That's an excellent bit of sculpting. That raised arm is really gnarly. The finished critter is more homogenous that the GW Chaos Spawn kits. And the less-is-more paint job adds even more to the grim darkness of the piece.

"Maybe the real monsters..." that's when I decided to subscribe.

Wow, beautiful piece just like most of your crafts. It's a nice thing when you can take some chip board, some paint and glue and stuff from the waste bin(cereal boxes, Styrofoam, bits of sprues and broken toys), and turn it into the things that are truly wonders. Love your Daemon Prince rendition, really, I wish I had 1/10th of your talent.

Your artistic talent and attention to detail and realism apply to making minis too! Nice work as always and hbd!

Outstanding build and that "contest sounds like a great idea for a continuing event, maybe every 3 months you all draw more cards and have at it again? Your monster turned out very nice

I hope you guys know how important what you are doing is. For the community but specially for creators who are stuck at home during this health crisis. Always love your projects - It only makes sense that your creature sculpting is equally awesome! What I love the most about your monster is the intention to use it as a model for wargaming. It will truly be a centerpiece HQ model for your army, and so incredibly unique!

looks like you're ready for some warp-ish mutated monster-terrain ;D

I'm picturing this as a D&D monster. Like a mage or sorcerer that tried to make a pact with some devil but got tricked and got transformed into this abomination. Still holding on to his staff, casting random spells from time to time, just trying to kill anything that crosses it's path.

I absolutely love the storytelling aspect of your build. That's exactly how my mind works. I love having a back story, and the one you came up with is so cool. I feel inspired, Eric!! I love what you did with the chains and the staff as well.

I really love watching your creative process! I'm a visual person myself so seeing you act out the pose really added to the experience

pro tip for sculpey clay, right after you bake it put the hot piece in the freezer and it becomes waaaaaaaaayyy harder

I love some of the older models. The old raptors for example? *chefs kiss* i also use an old style predator for that pre heresy feel

really love the model, would have really enjoyed this dude getting a paintjob upgrade after the competition was finished. I really think a few more nicer details on it would have made it a true chefs kiss model

8:20 Tip for using Milliput: petroleum jelly. Coat your fingers with it, and you won't have the Milliput sticking to you while you're trying to mold it.
