As someone who remembers Master of the Universe, but was older than the target audience at the time, I am amazed at how many people are interested in it?! Monolith are bound to be offering the trio of big expansions again. I couldn't afford them last time so I will pick them up this time. That King Pledge is an absolute steal? I have seen the stretch goal box alone going for £180!

Yeah it's a great price! MOTU is actually now a new show too, so I think that helped it stay relevant

It's also just a really fun game, but agreed, the new show is actually what helped pull me into the game the first time around. Monolith said they will do a poll and confirm what old content will be available during the PM. Fortunately for my wallet, we did t click with Conan. I'm in the minority if preferring Batman GCC (theme probably helps)

Wow, 210 videos. To be honest I only found you last year and the amount of content you put out is surprising, and helpful, to say the least. I typically just have a new video on in the background. Plus, standing up for CF as a whole really helps, especially for those of us who have lost confidence in KS specifically. Even though I don't really play them anymore (time, disabilities, etc) I still learn little things that help my own crafts and designs. I don't know if I will ever get my own games out there, but I like seeing the smaller companies on here, like BMC and their Idols game (watched him from the start almost).

Re: Justice - I have no problem at all with AI Art. I thought the Dwarf image looks great in my opinion. I didn't even notice the goofs until you pointed them out. If going with IA means good/decent art vs no/crappy art (due to budget constraints), I prefer AI.

I think the Conan Frazetta box is so much also because his estate may want more money for his name than the other box who has no ones name besides R.E.H.

CMON had the non-EU rights for He Man, Archon had the EU rights for their HeMan games, now they struck a deal to go into the others turf. Archon's He Man will be in a couple months, so I'll get that now that it's USA allowed.

It's fantastic man. I've seen enough of your stuff to think strongly that you'll like it :) The rules are not super concrete at times but if you can look past that small bit, it's absolutely stellar.

do we know if there are any exclusive while backing in KS for the kings pledge (for example) versus 1$ and make your decision in Pledge manager?

Yeah…in the U.S..CMON made it complicated and weird by having a KS and then we have to get things at retail. So I’m out.

I decided to back Conan as it's unavailable in Australia otherwise (the webstore does not ship here) and there is way more support for solo/coop then MotU.

I own the two previous ones. They're both a fun time and so creative with the idea. I'm on the fence about backing this one, but only because of my own budget. The art style changes between games, but it's always gorgeous and all over the game.

Do you know how solo mode works. If I got only the base game would I have it? Or is it only in red nails

I wonder if CMON launched this on Gamefound because they have so many open campaigns across several different sites... KS I believe still has Death May Die 2, Mordred, Zombicide:White Death and M.U. Multiverse and DCeased. Than on Backerkit they have their CMON Comics Vol. 2 ...Just a guess

My two Cents, Gamefound just offered them a better deal than kickstarter. The pledge manager for DCeased will be on Gamefound too.

So the King's pledge has more content (little bit) more that 2020 retail box and picking up stretch goals in this campaign... Can you provide more details of what exactly is the difference? Asking because I wound up getting the Retail version for $20 USD and I've been scouring EBAY for the past two years trying to score the King's pledge Stretch Goals box but no freaking way would I pay $200+ USD for it... Since the Stretch goal box is only $59 this seems to be a no brainer, except, $99 EURO for both with extra content isn't bad either... :) Thank you in advance!!! :)

I don't have an exact list, but the "core" box of the King Pledge compared to the regular version has a 2nd Conan figure with a lion mini as well, an old lady with a dog off the top of my head. There might be a few other differences but at least mini wise that's what I recall. I, just like you, had the retail version and scoured to get the rest of the stuff. I ended up having pretty good luck actually calling up game stores from even neighboring states that had websites listing product and having them ship me a few expansions/packs I was missing.

Altered tcg launches Jan 30 and I think is very unique and ambitious. Not you typical game to cover but it's unique enough to warrant coverage imo

Comparing He-man EU release to new content of Conan isn’t like for like. Most of the backers are getting the $20 hero back as US new backers are only offered the exclusives. Seeing what they can’t get is frustrating a lot of potential US backers. Being told they have to pay more to buy core at retail ~100 and another $100 for stretch goals vs $110 for everyone else and prove as original backers. Not seeing many backers at the UK bundles so maybe they’re all happy with their Arcon version. Is Conan worth a look for those that own Conan? Only on my radar due to your channel.

This may seem like a strange ask, a lot of people like to vote on BGG for the overall board game but I was wondering if you might consider taking a few seconds of your time on various videos to encourage gamers to vote for the player counts as well. I like to see how well the game is received across player counts and the number of votes for this aspect is like a ghost town. A few key influencers like yourself could really change that over time if you bring it up from time to time.

I want to back Conan but my group only has interest in solo/coop mode. The issue I run into is there seems to be difficulty in obtaining/finding the solo/coop scenarios. To get the most out of this campaign I would need the $99 new recruit pledge plus the $69 red nails to get the full coop mode and then another $44+ in shipping so it will be over $230 USD just to be able to play this with my group in the coop mode. Way too expensive compared to newer games available now that you can use 100% of the game you buy with solo/coop. Further pain comes from all of the expansion potentially needed to hunt down and acquire these scenarios when again if you aren't playing adventure mode means your aren't even using those whole expansion. I wish they would release a curated solo/coop boxed set that compiles the scenarios that can be played in this manner with the components needed.

Monolith has been nothing short of unprofessional in trying to remedy issues with a prior campaign. Their customer service/support email address simply leads to an abyss. They respond every dozen or so emails and then ghost for another quarter. Quite disappointed in the nearly year long venture now of trying to reach closure. Sadly extremely unlikely to back Conan now or the upcoming MBE as a result.
