Monochromatic Environment Framing The Forest In The Background

The young architect Natan Gil designed a hotel room proposal for the exhibition Casacor Minas Gerais 2022, named “Oásis Urbano”. The design aims to invite the guest to disconnect, recharge their energies and awaken new senses, just like a desert oasis. The TV gives way to nature and works of art, as the monochromatic environment frames the forest in the background, integrating outdoors and indoors. The soft tone of the concrete ran through the floor, walls, ceiling and much of the joinery, contrasting with the occasional black spots in the space.

Just a few interior shots and a lot of statement, but little is seen of the project as a whole.
When you have to over explain the project, you know there is a problem.

I love the look of this room but I don't understand how it's going to work in reality??? Is there glass between the forest and the room?? I can't see any!! How can it be open to the forest like that? What about insects and animals? How can you stop them getting into the room??
