I can recall that at that time I was 7-8 years old and I was at my nani' s place, a village in hills of Uttarakhand because of the summer vacations. My cousins were also there and all of us used to discuss this topic. We also had a mass hysteria during 2015 Nepal earthquake. I remember every 1-2 hour someone would shout "Earthquake" and everyone would run from their home 😂 because of that people stopped sleeping in night or would to sleep in parks. Not only in Delhi happened in rajasthan too...There is a place called, "Mehandipur Balaji" so we were told that the "chudails" lives there it's a temple where they tie them so that they don't escape. But one made it and she is freely roaming around the city and nobody knows where she is and asks for food with the same roti and onion, So as a kid we were too scared and our family members started printing their palms on the walls not a normal one with the use of Mehandi. Year 2004-2005. Damn it was too scary.

We also had the same fear earlier(in east delhi ) When a rumor was spread that there is a witch who comes to the houses of some people and the one who spots her becomes a stone that day we ( the whole street and especially our cousins and we gathered started living together for 2 days ) And a belief that red pigmented liquid used for rituals ( mahavar ) could protect us so we did spread it across the whole street

I still remember this case. People in Kolkata were also panicked at a certain point of time. It was basically the news channels. We were stressed. My mother used to say to my father to lock the doors and windows tightly every night. We were also terrified. Now I feel all of this was bogus. But I remember this madness.

Really i am from Pakistan this happened to my cousin so in our village in summer we sleep outside our houses not on the roof but outside the house this same situation happened to my cousin he was in a deep sleep he felt like a terrifying looking monkey is sitting on his chest beating him he tried defending himself and the monkey looking creature fell from the charpayi and ran away clibming the walls and never seen again in the village Its so strange that this happened in india as well it happened in summers 1990s i dont know the exact year but near this time period

I m from Delhi, i was 10 yrs old when this was happened, honestly we scared to go on terrace in night, this video refreshed my all memories of those days... 😂😂😂😂

I remember returning from tuition with my brother. It was around 8pm, very unusually windy at that time. Since Niali Bhuta was all over the news, we thought Niali Bhuta (this is what we Odias used to call that creature, Niali is the place's name and Bhuta means ghost) was going to attack us so we closed the cars' windows and the driver uncle drove like crazy, now that I think about it, I really find it funny lmao😭😂
