Reflecting back on this talk, I hope there are more communications like this that includes all three main traditions of Buddhism, including Vajrayana. However, for a limited platform such as these, it is more beneficial to focus only on topics on how all traditions guide people to deal with difficult situations from their approaches, or something like that. As for "differences across traditions", it would take a long time of study and experience to truly understand the differences; otherwise it could lead to disharmony and confusion in the lay community or the beginners based on our own limited understanding.

Thank you for your feedback - we will share this with the Venerables. In the meanwhile, we'd like to clarify that this Monk Chat between monastics was not not really designed for laypeople, but mainly for monastics - to help clarify their own possible misperceptions of other traditions. :)

Wouldnt an arhant still help people by default by their natural tendency to be compassionate and loving? Whereas a bodhisattva stays in rebirth to continue helping people, the arhant would still help people while his body is still living in the current material lifetime? Like, although the arhant is no longer rebirthing, he/she is helping others to become arhants before he/she finishes the parinibbana, so the act of helping others would continue through the generations as others continue attaining arhatship and continue to teach before their parinibbana. So wouldnt both arhant and bodhisatva still equally help others?
