I was scrolling through videos and found this. I had a car accident June 3 2014 my husband was driving. I got the worst of it. My neck broke and my nerves in my left arm are severely damaged. I dont remember a thing but moments before the accident. We we were at an arcade center an I mentioned seperating. Hrs later I woke up in a halo with limited movement in my arm. He told everyone including family I was driving an I was drunk. Tests were taken an my results to my alcohol tests came bk negative. When I woke up he was so cold towards me cruel even he did things that the lord can only make him pay for. I give God the Glory im alive an everyday life as I knew it has changed bt I pray the Lord will deliver me from this. Bt...I made it. God spared me. This video made me even more grateful to even be the way I am. The devil tried to take my life bt God said No. I am a witness. My God is good. Just thought I would share......

This song reminds me of when my dad left my mom and was gone for 4 years me my mom and brother became homeless and my mom has this song in her c.d player and I would listen to it and think of my dad holding back tears that was the hard times my mom finally saved up enough we was able to rent a house (4 years later)I saw my dad outside the house crying and telling my mom he thought the grass was greener on the other side I begged my mom to let him in the house she didn't years later I understand now my dad haven't seen us since (his choice) but this song brings up that time we was in the shelter and my mom would tell us every night she was sorry for putting us through it I love my mom so much my mom is her own boss she bought a house 10 years ago she taught me to never depend on a man to get my own she can't stress that enough

You know, Monica you're criminally underated. I really did share this with a few of my friend's when I first heard this record because it gave me chills! Her vocals arent just top notch, they're passionate! Like when I think of devine feminine & we must protect her type ish, I truly think of Monica as a reflection of all women but anywho not to take away from her success but this deserves way more views. She is right. She truly gave us timeless top notch music with vocals on par with whomever for real. People get it twisted like she cant blow because she be chill on certain records like so gone or knock knock but this is an example of how she can blow. When it was just her & her piano at that BET tribute, I was blown away. Love you Monica! You definitely deserve your flowers!💐👑🥂

This is so true most people don't know what they got until it's gone and love can blind you so bad to the point that you end up getting hurt so bad and sacrifice your own life for someone who doesn't even appreciate you. The saddest part is the fact that your own family and friends try to tell you but when your so in love you can't see the truth until it's too late.
