I used to listen to this song and cry myself to sleep when I was going through my divorce. That part, “they say if you love something you have to let it go and if it comes back that it means so much more but if it doesn’t at least you would know that it was something that you had to go through to grow” always broke me down. Fast forward 7 years and we got remarried and getting ready to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary (11th is you count the first 6). And Heather is right, it means so much more now! Keep hope and faith alive!

We reunited 16 years later November 8,2022 Through those 16 years I was totally unhappy with the person I was with knowing my heart was some where else. How I look at it Brotha, is I imagine she singing the song about me and to me. Same with her other Joint "He is", I can listen to it because I know she singing about yours truly. I used to hear this song from Heather Headley on VH1 and MTV Hits when I was fifteen years old at the time going to Passaic County Technical Institute. These were the good old days!!! I love her voice and she knows how to sing very well.

She's so underrated!!! She sings so lovely. She's a Beautiful Queen. Love this song and thee other ones too. ❤️. I'm a fan my sistah ❤️

Heather Headley is so underrated. I know that she's won a TONY award from Broadway plays, but I wish she got more recognition as an vocalist/artist. My favorite part is the bridge of the song and her belting yeah at the end. I can listen to it over and over again. Makes me think of a relationship that I don't have.
