I honestly never knew she was from Indy. Well, I can add her to my list of people from my home state who made it. It's not a very big list lol all that pops into my head at the moment are obviously the Jacksons and David Letterman. I moved to Ohio when I was 11. My mom was dating this now known rapper (to the Mexican community) when I was a little girl and she told me that if she kept dating him than he would've dedicated this song to me because I made happier than my mom did. He called me his daughter to his friends and family and I would call him daddy even though I wasn't his daughter. I think about it everytime I listen to this song and my mom always reminds me "if he were here right now he would dedicate this song to you because you made his life better if it was when he carried you or heard you call him daddy or kiss his cheek or just hugged you he would forget about all of his haters and all the negativity and he was so excited to watch you grow up.
