CLASH of the REGIONS MONGREL MOB Rugby League tournament
Mongrel Mob members took their colour their passion and their athletic skills to Maraenui Park in Napier New Zealand for a full day of Rugby League. Being born and bread in Castleford Yorkshire, Rugby League runs through my veins, not enough to get on the park with this lot tho'. The day was dubbed Clash of the Regions with Mob mate going toe to toe with Mob mate. Thousands gathered on the sidelines, sadly I could only cover one match, during a lunch break from the day job, the first match of the day was our local side the Hawke's Bay Bulldogs taking on their mates from the Mighty Waikato. Dead locked at full time the match went into golden point extra time with Waikato edging out the home side in a thrilling finish that could have gone either way. Hope you enjoy this wee slideshow.
