Money Game Part 2 & 3 (cinematic reaction)

Музыка

This series was of EPIC proportions! Much love to REN and his team for pulling off one of the most CINEMATIC music video pieces I've ever seen! I also want to thank all of my subscribers, RENEGADES, and the HOG family for showing all the love and support!
I could not do it without you. We made it to 4K SUBS and I couldn't be more humbled. THANK YOU!
I hope you enjoy the show . . . 🍿
Stay Up, Stay Gold
God Bless 🙌
FOR A CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE I suggest watching this with a sound system with some BASS! Trust me ; ) Larger format is also recommended! 📺

The story is truly tragic. All Jimmy wanted was his dad to tell him he was doing a good job. His father kept pushing him but never once acknowledged his accomplishments. If fact he belittled them. Then at 35 his dad dies and he knows there’s now absolutely no way to prove himself to the man he idolized and he spirals out of control for the final 10 years, realizing that it was all for nothing and even regretting some of his actions. The way some parents push their kids so hard never acknowledging their accomplishments letting them think they are never enough without being the best at (insert thing here ie sports, monetary achievement, awards).

There was a cut when the camera panned behind the chair, as you noticed. It was because they only had the one mic and it was a very expensive mic' and also they only had the one suit for Ren and the water would've ruined both so a decision was made to make a cut there. Great work, I hope Ren get's back to you about your project.

I think even Ren wondered if he would be able to top Hi Ren, but when he came up with this concept you could tell it would be special by how excited he was to bring it to life! Ren, Sam, and everyone involved absolutely killed it. I know Ren and Sam are working on a pilot for a Netflix series, but he could easily develop a stage production. His level of creativity, artistry, and talent are unreal. And as he likes to say - this is only the beginning! This was the first video that Ren was able to have a real budget … not a huge budget, but enough to bring in lighting, better sound recording, and an actual location for the shoot. Yamaha donated use of the grand piano. Ren fell in love with it and in the BTS you can hear him play any chance he got. But the strings really got me 🎻 So cinematic! You will love the BTS. This was also his first and only suit he’s ever owned 😜 You should watch his most recent video - “Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle remake.” The outfit will look familiar … and the song and video are so lush. You deserve a song that will lift your spirit after the Money Game roller coaster. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you can connect with Connor and Ren. 🤞

Im almost certain he knew what he was capable of 🙌 Especially after how much work they put in HI REN! It's just really great to see how each time he levels up his game. Samuel & the rest of the crew are included. I know the feeling of taking something from concept, putting it down on paper...then bringing it to LIFE 🍿 there's just no feeling like it. Yeah that string quartet gets me every time! I am a huge buff when it comes to Cinematic classical, epic instrumental as you could probably tell from my intro 😂 then add a solo piano with some reverb and you've got a masterpiece on your hands ❤️ I've got Back on 74 on my playlist... slowly but surely I'll get to it 😊 Again, thank you for your continued effort in assisting me getting in touch with REN peeps! Fingers crossed something happens 🎬 have a great rest of your day!

There is a "behind the scenes video where you get to see them preparing and recording. They explain a lot of the choices made, such as the bags and the type of gun etc. Half the performance is truly behind the camera. Usually a sad dance of 2 lovers that can never touch, but even here Ren breaks the rules and goes further than breaking the 4th wall, and actually grabs hold of the camera.

I was so excited for you to see Money Game 3 and you didn't disappoint!! Ren and Sam and everyone else involved in making this masterpiece of a video did such an amazing job. You were correct about the one cut when they panned behind the wheelchair. It was necessary because of the rain. They needed to move his mic and he only had one suit so they only had one chance with the water. Glad you enjoyed this! Really enjoyed your reaction 💜💜

Ren gave us a little history lesson in part one and here’s the economics class. He is a fucking genius. It takes a very clever and flexible mind to break down complex subjects in a way that everyone can understand it. And then doing it using a well known nursery rhyme? In the form of rap? This man is different 😅 As for part 3… mind blowing! The only coherent thought I had after the first time of experiencing it was that if Netflix doesn’t give this masterful storyteller his own show, they’re fools 😂

You’re 100% correct about the 1 cut in the video. He only had the 1 suit and decided to add the rain part during the production, which ties into the 🎶Rain rain rain rain-🎶 bit from Money Game 2. But from this point on it’s a second 1 take but he HAD to nail it and judging by your reaction he most certainly did.

I figured you'd love MG3 most due to the exceptional video. The 3 songs/videos were written and performed over a number of years. You can see his talent and growth over this time. Regarding Wolf Johnson and his video, he was a Ren reactor that Ren contacted and coordinated getting him to the UK to do the bts video. Just so you know, Ren is self taught as a pianist and guitarist. He makes it look easy, doesn't he! It seems that his talent and creativity knows no bounds. ❤ 🎶 🎥 ✍️

Ren is Truly a Once in a Multi-Generational Artist on the Level of Shakespeare. He is a Performance Art Master who blends music and character acting from all the styles over the last 500 years and makes it Modern and Relatable to all Generations even if normally you may not be a fan of whatever genre he is currently performing. From Location and Video Directing Worthy of Tarantino or Spielberg, to Lyrics Shakespeare would have been Proud to have Written, To an Emotional Performance on par with Marlon Brando or Morgan Freeman and the Musical Prowess of Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton and the Vocal Chops of Robert Plant or M&M! In Money Game Pt3 when offering His Solution to the Sociatal Issues he is showcasing, Ren stated "Mold will Grow upon the Surface and Consumes til it dies, and Our Fate could be the same without this Story to the Wise" The more I hear from Ren the more I realize his Solution is to be a Teacher Opening the Eyes of Millions with his Art and his Heart! And I think Ren's message is Crystal Clear. Ambition and Passion Without Compassion Will Cause the World To Burn! But Ambition and Passion WITH Compassion Can Save It! His Compassion is Manifestly Obvious and If enough of Us actually LISTEN to his words, then Maybe, Just Maybe the Hunan Race may Survive!

With the water, they couldn't afford to waste the entire dry section of a good take before his suit got soaked, lapel mic (he finally got a nice one) potentially messed up, wait for the floor to dry etc etc so they chose to put a cut in strictly for logistical reasons.

A few fun facts: The fantastic camera work was done by Beau Prichard-James. The child at the beginning is reading "Business Economics". When the globe stops spinning, you can see Cuba on it which was just mentioned in the lyrics. The violins play parts of the melody from 'Money Game 1'. And the rain also refers to Money Game 1 and 2. There are two great behind the scenes videos by Wolf Johnson. Ren said the costs for the video were between 25 and 30k (pound I guess). If you wanna see a great no-budget-video of Ren, have a look at 'Ren ft. Bibi - Crutch'. Another heartbreaking, beautiful and deep song.

To say, "I knew you'd adore Money Game Part 3." would be an understatement unworthy of just how much you must have appreciated (and indeed articulated in this video) how much planning went into the development of that shoot. Not to mention the choreography of all the people involved, the timing... even the constant changes in the piano coming in at key points throughout, aided by the pianist having an earpiece with a direct feed of Ren's mic so he could switch to the right... melody? (sorry, I'm a novice at best when it comes to musical terminology) but man, hearing this again gave me even more appreciation of just how many times that changes. Utterly fantastic. I'm writing this with more than 10 minutes left of the video to watch... but I was too excited to not leave a comment.

I want to start off by saying I appreciate you giving time out of your day to watch my reaction video. Its great to hear you enjoyed your time here ☺️ you are absolutely correct! I am very much so enjoying the REN Adventureland 🙌 I will always do my best to give more detailed insight from the creative process side as a Filmmaker. I learn from you all as well so thank you for that ❤️ See you all next time.
