Hi keto friends! I’m watching from Terre Haute, Indiana. I’m a Muslim, and we Muslims dry fast frequently as part of our religion, Islam. Ramadan is a month of mostly daylight fasting (first light of day until sundown). We are also encouraged to fast 3 days in middle of lunar month, next level is fasting Monday & Thursday, and most extreme level is fast every other day. Sadly, topic of carbs is not discussed now. I fasted this last Ramadan as a keto eater and it was awesome!!!! I even only drank water before starting daily fast, so I chose OMAD during my whole month and it was delightful!!!!!!!

Got to say after doing 90 days strict carnivore for gut health I didn’t eat enough quantity. I ended up under weight at 65kg - 143 I’m 188cm/6’2… Literally stripped but light… Started hitting the weights and trying to eat more to add 10kg back on… Incredible to feel this good. 🥩🙏

Dr Berry and Nurse Nisha, thank you for sharing the truth about health. Been carnivore for about 4-5 years, thanks to you! I've been taking magnesium at bedtime. And D3 & K2 in the morning. Odd. Some evenings I crave butter. Eating a pat or two of butter does help me sleep. Nice to know it isn't me being oddly me. It is a human thing. Lovin' spoonful of butter at bedtime!

told my new doctor today I was a carnivore been a carnivore for two and a half months. Told Her to check with Dr. Ken Berry. After all the blah blah, she told me she'd been a doctor for 20 whatever years WITH So many years of Education, that what I learned on youtube in a couple months couldn't compete with what she had done. That's about as short as I can voice type it. eagle PS She just wasn't hearing nothing of it.

Great program, being a thirty year vet I identify with what was said, on my annual my blood sugar fasting was around 125, they told me I was pre diabetic, they put me on metformin, that didn’t help, after retirement I was put on 100 units of insulin per day and told to eat 45 carbs per meal, well that didn’t work either. At 67 I discovered keto carnivore and now am meds free with a a1c of 6 my last 3. Feel great and am loving life. Basically eliminated carbs that simple. 71 now and still working, Pazaa !!!

In the last two years, I'm slowly getting to carnivore. With watching many different resources, I have gained control over my health again. I'm not sure I would ever be fully carnivore but who nows, I never thought I could extended fast, give up snacking, eating low carb or keto. So with more knowledge, learning, unlearning and relearning, I am getting there.

Dr Berry. What do you think about replacing the words “calorie” and “caloric” with “DMI” (Dietary Mass Intake)? Example: “ No daily DMI should consist of more than 30 grams of carbohydrates”. “I’m thinking about adding a few ounces of fish to my DMI”. I think it works. Since caloric intake is an irrelevant and inapplicable factor in dietary calculations, something else being used will allow the calorie to go back where it belongs as a measurement of heat (252 calories per BTU).

I was taking thyroid medicine for over 20 years. After being on carnivore for 9 months the doctor took me completely off levothyroxine. I have also been taking iodine drops when this occurred. I wonder if I was just low on iodine when doctor prescribed thyroid medicine?
