Beautifully played, Alice. An amazing player that seems to defy what one expects from a chess player that follows the game intently as one observes with countless other players. The match seems to float in her mind with minimal following of the game needed. So it seems, but Alice has tapped into a world of intrigue that, when she is in good form is simply amazing to watch.

I frequently watch the games of these prodigious CFN guys and Alice is amazing, but in this case I don't see the brilliance of the move you mention. In fact Alice is in a disadvantageous position, the analysis gives +1.1 for White, and after his move f3, the advantage is +2.6 if he simply continues with the captures of the pawn and the bishop: exf6 gxf6; Nxc4 dxc4; Rxc4, etc. I don't understand White's Rc2 move...
