Speaking as someone with C4 Mona, I still think kokomi is better for bloom. She has more hydro application, and also heal so you don’t have to run ZhongLi in the team

I have c4 Mona and I find she’s great at bloom and hyperbloom teams. I’m using her as a main dps though, I’m trying to figure out how people are saying she doesn’t apply hydro well enough, but they must not be using her as a main dps. I had her somewhat built before, and her charged attacks were consistently 5k sometimes 6k, now just purely adding dendro, not changing my Mona at all, she has 10-15k charged attacks consistently. No that’s not insane damage but when you have oz or Raiden e and dendro mc AND Mona happening all at once, the numbers are friggin INSANE. I don’t even need Zhongli or a healer anymore because no one can touch me with all the elemental damage happening. And I’ve never benched Zhongli. But I do now. Unless it’s ruin guards because I’m spoiled to his shield with their attacks lol. But getting so many constellations of mona on accident I’ve always wanted to make her more viable and not just a burst dps and dendro finally did it for me.

I just now have noticed that mona's starmoon thing on her hat glows. Also nice damage from those bloomed seeds :).

We seriously need a training dummy. Especially now that dendro reactions are hard to track.

I think the problem on the 1st team is that there are too many hydro application that your Kokomi can't even create her own bloom it would be easier to run the dendro traveler as the one create the bloom since they are the only source of dendro in that team. PS: I really like your contents and I am waiting for that Mona C6 video. Take care of yourself.

Whenever you're back to posting, I'd love to see an updated bloom and/or hyperbloom build focused around Mona and possibly using newer chara like Yaoyao

Hyperbloom is insane. For me it is DPS Mona, Fishl, Dendro MC and Kazuha (because Oz is not targeting the seeds on the ground and Kazuha has to trigger the seeds that are left on the ground) alternativly you could run Raiden and only use her E, but my Raiden is already used without EM in many other teams and I just wanted to use my Fishl again. I do the Sumeru Artifact domain in one rotation , maybe because Monas burst is just broken. And Abyss was also pretty easy for my Mona, like in every Mona Team 😅 I love Mona

I got my dendro mc with er/dendro/crit+fav sword, helped keeping the uptime. Still at lvl1 all but seems like it won't affect anything since it's the hydros that's proccing the reaction.

Based Hydrosam using Heartful Cry bgm. One of my all time favorite video games songs.

Yeah, for Burgeon, Thoma seems to be the best trigger of the reaction due to his low application of pyro and the AoE of his flame being able to hit the seeds. Besides Xinyan (as I'm not sure if she can properly hit the seeds with her skill), every Pyro characters we have so far either apply too much pyro or are unreliable at hitting the seeds. As for Hyperbloom, Kuki and anemo characters that can swirl electro in an AoE are pretty much the best characters to activate the reaction. Unfortunately Fischl on her own is bad at triggering the reaction as Oz won't reliably hit the seeds, as I learned the hard way. OTL Doesn't help that in some team compositions, it's ideal to have both DMC and Collei on the team since both have middling application and thus need their combine applications to be able to trigger a lot of seeds. Hyperbloom and Burgeon definitely have potential but our current Dendro characters can certainly make it hard to make a team for them currently. Still excited for the reaction and I'm quite please it gives electro a reaction that makes use of their raw damage.

So I was playing Mona and something hit me about her C1 not buffing dendro reactions. Is there any news on an update for this?

I think to take full advantage of Bloom you can use Kokomi(4pc gilded) , Sucrose(4pc VV) , DendroMC(4pc Deepwood) , Cryo character (4pc Blizzard or anything). That way you get 150EM from 4pc Set from kokomi , around 150 from Sucrose , No interference by any other hydro character so all blooms will do same dmg , and enemies will stay frozen. Replace Cryo with Fischl(Kuki and you have very good Hyperbloom team)

Which Catalysts would you suggest for Kokomi (Gilded) & Sucrose? My issue is I only have one Sacrificial Fragments and they can't share it 😂

For Hyperbloom and Bergeon teams the pyro or elctro characters needs the have the stscked em on them for that big pp dmg

So all I have to do is turn on recording and pretend, then I can get a good artifact? Right?

it doesn't work like that if you build em only on kokomi but you put double hydro, mona will proc the bloom and ruin the reaction as dendro mc don't apply enough dendero, i suggest using kazuha at the place of mona

I wanted to main Nilou but I've heard she's supposed to work only in 2xHydro + 2xDendro teams... and I hate dendro
