I love these videos with actual "students". They help a lot to see what you may be doing right and wrong while learning, and a realistic evolution of a beginner :)

It's nice to have people learning with you and not being the only newbie. I wish more women skated. You don't need to do anything extreme. It can be fun just rolling around and doing what these ladies are doing.

My wife and I were hoping this would be a series when we watched the first lesson, glad to see there are more!

Regarding the "getting stuck" part at 6:18. I have noticed that it's easy to get stuck like this when I have too much weight on my front foot, or when my front leg is too straight or too "stiff" (not relaxed). When I finally learned to relax my legs more, by "unlocking my knees", all these stops when going up a ramp disappeared.

Thanks JB for releasing this video. I watched you're original video on air outs a while back and finally managed to pop out of my local bowl that has no coping. Truly inspiring - what an amazing bunch of sk8 moms! Thank you for making this lesson, showing them all progress at their own pace, and having so much fun throughout. Would love to see more videos of the skate moms. How long had they been skating for? I’d love to learn bowl and transition skating just like this!

Some of them had kids that skated and became friends at the park. Just stay involved in the skate community and you’ll meet others that skate over time. Wishing you luck 💙🛹🙌🏽
