Yeah he played them, but in terms of ultimate he only played them on stream, and didnt make it seem like he would bring them up in a tourney. But it's pretty clear now, that he's looking for a better main

Getting like 6th or so constantly in tournaments has got to be why. He's thinking he has to change something in order to finally get 1st at a major, might also be the reason why he went to default controls in this tournament (in sm4sh he started off playing on default)

It's all good, people are finally starting to recognize him as a top 5, or possibly top 3 player. He will get the recognition he deserves soon. I think he really just needs to learn how to handle tweeks roy, cause that's litterally the only thing stopping him from winning every tournament lol

This Nairo player really does make all characters seem very fun & viable to play with,he seems to make those tournaments far more interesting due to his way to adapt to all the characters he picks.

As a Pit comain, something in my heart told me that the Dark Pit was gonna be his downfall

No one’s even recognizing Marss, like come on give the guy credit for taking out Nairo 3 times. He plays ZSS very well.

Being in the crowd for this was nothing BUT HYPE

I feel like Nairo plays mostly for fan service. He knows people would love some ZSS dittos and then he chooses to rock the roster with old favourites. Great games either way, congrats to Marss for his victory. Even if he lost, that is still a joy to see. It's always incredibly fun to watch underappreciated fighters getting represented in official tourneys.

One of the greatest sets of this game so far.

Okay but Nairo is a genius though. He realized Marss knew ZSS too well and figured he had to step into unfamiliar territory to have a chance. But still, absolutely crazy. This is like the equivalent of a football team coming back after halftime and switching quarterbacks after every play, and it WORKING.

Much respect to Nairo on his skill level to go for the random character select option.
