As mad as Romesh was to rub that into his eyes, Frank Skinner singing whilst spooning up other people's tears looked like found footage of a serial killer.

For me, it's the funniest moment from all of Taskmaster episodes so far. Alex's face & the noise he makes Liza giggling her head off as she runs off around the corner, then again giggling in the studio.

I think the fact he'd even shocked himself, and the laughter was completely out of control, really nails it. This is a man who, by his own admission, sometimes gets so excited he has to scream into a pillow (under otherwise normal circumstances). There's a lot more to that man than those teeth...

Man, rewatching the Watermelon task makes me realize what an excellent debut task for the series it was. The progression of Roisin assuming there would be a bowl of cut up melon, to Josh feebly spooning watermelon into his mouth, to Tim and Romesh barreling into the room and immediately smashing the Watermelon, with Romesh deciding in the heat of the moment it was better to smash and subsequently eat the watermelon off the floor instead of the perfectly good table in front of him encapsulates every thing about the show so perfectly. I think Romesh's performance on that task is still my favorite thing in the entire series, as another commenter in this video said, I know whats coming and its still just as funny every single time.

The reveal that Paul chodry stayed in the cardboard box for 45 minutes before trying to surprise Alex makes me laugh everytime I think about it

Rob sitting in a nanna's dress & wig asking Alex if he was wet after blasting him for nearly a full minute with a jet-washer. Classic bants.

I think about Romesh and the watermelon several times a week.

This moment really defined the show. Like, you've got 2 people eating watermelon relatively peacefully, you've got the dude who broke the watermelon on the table, then you've got a guy just THROWING the watermelon on the ground and savagely eating the pieces.

@@josephchambers2000 iirc the owner posted something about he owning it as a private citizen but the income from views/ads etc goes to Channel 4 and that he has no control over the ads. A solution C4 made rather than just shutting down the channel. Was a topic when people complained about the increase in ads.

Honestly I’m very curious as to what Alex ranks as the worst thing a contestant has ever done to him or made him do for a task.

the timing of the music to the first clip of romesh murdering the watermelon is *chefs kiss*

They don't do it as much in the newer series but I love it when they show shots of the contestant's back in the studio reacting live to other contestants and their own footage. Adds another level of hilarity to each task. Seeing them cringe or reel in embarrassment or seeing them laugh hysterically at their own decisions aha. Hope they have some of that style shown in the new series!

Of all the bizarre and inexplicable moments on the show, Bob Mortimer bringing Alex Horne into a loving embrace and inviting him to eat his nose while moaning "I've sinned"....

Can't lie, my first thought with the pea was the same as David's. After that is where we deviated.

Maybe Im imagining it but I feel TM UK is the only version where you really feel like the TM is in charge rather than the assistant, which is no small feat since Alex owns the whole show

please please please tell me there will be a part 2. there are simply too many good moments not included in this compilation.

The way Lisa ran off giggling after having Alex sit bare-butt in a cake has got to be in the top three funniest things ever shown on TV. Every time I watch it, my gut muscles burn from laughing so hard and long.

This entire video could be one hour of just Rhod and Sally

i gotta tip my cap to alex horne for being such a good sport throughout this show. the contestants do some horrible things to him sometimes and he takes it all in stride.

Liza Tarbuck and her cake sitting bit will always make me laugh.

The fact the watermelon task was series 1 is shocking because it's by far the best example of how this show is amazing, each celebrity gradually increases the amount they eat and the craziness in the way they do it. If you have to show someone 1 task over the entire series to get them into the show you show them that one, maybe the potato throwing
