One detail I love is that it's really the character tossing the gold over, not an off-screen gold handling scene where the character pretends they're giving something out

​@@ChristianGonzalez-qu6fsthe little switch character button at the bottom left of the screen when you are in dialog scenes. It is very helpful for pinning a merchant in place to pickpocket them with.

I convinced her that I was sent to take her Job and she exploded, 11/10 would do again

For me I told her she could keep all the gold for herself, and she still explodes

I talked her to death in a similar way in my playthrough, but could not truly understand what made her die. She just started talking about paying back the gold and... bam.

It may have been a curse of avarice where she needs the gold to stay alive.

Nothing actually, she wasnt living - a cursed ghost/soul/shadow that runs off an insourmantable greed that she possesed when was alive

It seems to be some sort of curse inflicted upon her when the shadow falls. She would die when she doubts her need of gold or the ability to get them (like convincing her that she’s about to be promoted elsewhere or fear enough to not get the gold) So I guess she died when she can’t get the gold, literally.

HA I did the same thing! I don't know what kind of fuckery I was on, but I killed all of the Thorms without fighting them. And then the devil in the temple. Hehe.

In my playthrough, i just pushed her out of one of the broken walls (which broke half her armor) and just threw javelins at her until the rest of her armor broke and she died. She didn't even fight back, just stood there and let me kill her without even going into combat. But I got the achievement!

If you give her 5000+ gold first, she gives you a unique item (it's not ACTUALLY super useful, but it's unique- it's a scroll of Flesh to Stone, but the stone texture is changed out for gold, and it is labeled something like Baldur's Gate Safe Passage Writ), and she's also WAY heavier so if you still successfully shove her off the ledge she takes like 500+ damage.

I know she's the easiest boss but love fighting her for the gold lol

They are all easy when you convince them to kill themselves. Almost every boss in Act2, (except Balthazaar maybe) even yes the big bad of act2 can be encouraged to commit suicide.

​@@SuperHongTay Yeah, when I realized this was possible while encountering the one scene with the weird surgery people at the house of healing I laughed so hard 😂 Then, I immediately decided to do it as many times as possible. It's hilarious

I love the dark souls vibe to it's armor

They missed a chance to put the fart vine sound in here when she gives up the ghost.

Imagine my surprise last week when I did this by accident

She was a fun fight; kited her with Asarion out of the toll house, killed the skulls, which broke off all her armor until she was 6hp demon, begging for mercy; and then arrow to the face.

I used persuasion and they blew up.... this is the best game ever!!!

Oh.. wow.. I've been doing the whole shoot the floating skulls to bring her down to 6hp. Damn.. I didn't know this was an option, because my characters were not Paladins at the time, I'll have to remember that! Also, if you have an assload of gold on you if she attacks, she will hit you for the amount of gold you have as damage, becuase weird DnD mechanics :D

certain classes have it easier than others, but anyone can try to make the DC 18 (21?) checks to explode her. it’s worth attempting even if you probably won’t succeed :)

Being able to kill all of Ketheric's family by talking to them satisfies me in a way few things can.

@@kaydee66781 Yeah, from what I've read as well, there is A LOT of cut content, a fair number of them being from act 3. And honestly, I would not mind if they add said cut content due time restriction as a DLC.

@@Fabio-ql5yf Yes. My love for the game was almost crushed by how awful, laggy, and momentum-killing act 3 was. It has its high points, like fighting against a shapeshifter and a rematch with an act 1 villain, but overall it just doesn't feel good.
