@@ittybittybeara5252Clearly not the case here, and clearly not the message of the video. A sorry that comes from the heart should be good enough. But of course, humans are not that straight forward. They prefer to punish people that do something they don't like or deem appropriate instead of forgiving them and helping them over come their darkness.

@@ittybittybeara5252If they aren’t sorry, they will get theirs, one way or the other. But if a person is genuinely sorry, they are much better for society. Helping others, healing, loving and searching for redemption till their last breath. They also understand the pull of darkness, and use that connection to help the wicked/ignorant change for the better in a way others can’t. This is better for humanity as a whole than the pain and suffering that wickedness brings.
A lesson for mom but also for son! You should listen to your friends when they’re expressing whether they feel Comfortable or not around certain people they bring them around. Love the message.

nah that lesson goes for the mom-
As a black man who faced a truly insane amount of racism and racial violence from other kids when I was growing up, this hits pretty close to home. My family isn't at all wealthy (they aren't poor either), but I would always get "the look" whenever I went over to a new friend's house for the first time. I still remember my father giving me "the talk" about never being alone in a new friend's house, because if anything "goes missing", I would definitely be blamed for it. Things are much better now that I'm older, but I can still see the racism around me because I'm attuned to it from having lived it. It's why I just roll my eyes whenever someone says that "racism is over".

I have always taken great pride in feeding all the kids in my hood. My Wife and I always provided a safe space for them to just be kids. They could come over whenever they wanted and play with my kids, play Xbox, jump on the trampoline, eat, do homework or whatever. Alot of them didn't have the best home life and I just wanted them to feel safe and to just have fun and not be hungry. It makes me upset that there are people like this to judge people because of their color or nationality.
Thanks for this movie. Not all Nigerians are bad. Am Nigerian but I haven't travelled out side the country. There are still many good Nigerians despite the bad ones. When you meet a good Nigerian you won't want to leave that person.

Was going to say this too.
You have no idea how relatable this is. Growing up I always felt embarassed by how racist my family and white friends were. Everytime I brought someone home the treatment was completely different when it was a white person than a person of color. Everything was always just fine as long as my friends coming over to hang out were white. But they always had problems when I tried to play with a friend who's black or brown or even asian. With me feeling like crap I can't even imagine how they used to feel. The worst parts of my life were always having to deal with racist people. This reminds me of so many girlfriends I had to date without my parents knowing , so many friends I've lost because of prejudice, so many shameful moments and wasted opportunities. If there's one good thing that came out of all this is that I learned how to be a better person and not make the same mistakes of my family. I'm grateful for everything my parents went through to raise me. But If there's one thing I'll never repeat from them is to influence my kids with racism.

Him being nigerian and I am makes me feel that not all people from my country are bad
damn the end was such an uno reverse
I guess jacob’s mother learned a lesson at the end.
The fact she switched up after they said “ gas station”, she said “if it wasn’t for you my daughter wouldn’t have a place to stay” but she really meant “if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be able to drive myself to target and Starbucks”.
SHE BE ACTING LIKE EM PIZZA ROLLS WERE 1 MIL STRAIGHT FROM BILL GATES HIMSELF💀💀
