I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

Finally as a single mom of a 6 year old I’ve been doing so much research in regards to finding inspiration on how my son can have a full size room this is the first video I’ve seen in months of countless research that shows me something along the lines of what I’m looking for. I'm constantly amazed by the ingenuity of your tiny home builders! Heather's design is nothing short of brilliant!! From her work desk, to her painting studio, to her son's room, everything fits and flows together perfectly. And that gorgeous view of the Grand Tetons... WOW!! Big Thumbs Up!

She has created a really homey feel, there is a lot in the home but doesn't feel cramped. She must be doing something right to keep a 16 yr old happy only thing I would do is create a small garden area, but that's my personal opinion. I purchased 11 acres of beautiful Mountain View land in Tennessee for $420 a month. Paid it off after I sold my home in Texas after 5 years. I built a tiny home for $30,000 with all the comforts of home. The tiny home in this video is nice but way too costly. Of course I did most of the work myself. One day I will put it on KZread.

Finally someone using an IKEA table in the kitchen. I have one of these for my small apartment kitchen and it’s the best. There are 6 drawers that hold quite a bit and the table opens to 3x3 or 3x6.5. Makes more sense to utilize this than a fold up panel of wood that many of these tiny homes have for a table.

It seems like in the beginning(of seeing all these tiny home vids), I saw that Ikea table a lot. More and more it's been dining counters/breakfast bars and fold ups.

He didn't chose to live this way so I think every kid that lives in a tiny home should have a own room and privacy. But sometimes there is no space for it

I love moms who put their kids needs first...someday he will move out (but it may not be till after college - so that’s 6 years)... then his mom can take over his room...

Love it and love how her son is happy too and she made sure he has his privacy in a nice space

I love how the children are so supportive of the transition.

Stunning location. Jackson Hole, WY was part of my honeymoon trip. I have very fond memories of the place. The son has a great voice. If he publishes anything audio, I think he has a head start towards success. Wishing them all the best. He seems content with his space, which is so important when you’re a teenager. Mine are very vocal about their needs. If he goes away to college, dorm space should not be an issue. I also like how the mom gets to carve some more work/ life balance, in that she doesn’t need to work crazy hours to afford a place to live and to feed and care for her family. I love the little artist nook she carved out for herself. It makes me feel happy when you find people who love their lifestyle.

There is a distinct possibility that the problem with the fridge will go away once you move the 12V battery somewhere it doesn't get very cold. Any battery that gets really cold looses it's charge, which is probably also why i sort of got the hint the problem is mainly there during the winter (when it gets really cold 'in the non-insulated non heated shed'), find another easy place to move that 12V preferably inside (and maybe even get a small solar panel), and the problem will very likely go away... happy living :)

Loved to see a Mum and son living happily and easefully in their tiny house. Lovely fresh design also. And being on the edge of the such a glorious national park - astounding, and soooo good for the soul to able to look up and out to those big old beings.

I like the design but I Especially love both rooms that have partition & doors, so total privacy💖 That's the MOST important thing

I noticed that too. Wish they would have addressed it during the interview. Her home has a bathroom so....maybe they host outdoor music events and those are for guests? I noticed the musical instruments hanging by the door-but still, TWO portapotties?! Gross. Her home is beautiful though-the only thing I would add is a tiny wood burning stove. Propane creates condensation.

For 100k here in California, you would get a crappy, run-down, mobile home trailer house from the 1980s. A beautiful, custom made tiny home with that view is totally worth it!

In my opinion, this single Mom made a right choice. She sold her house and used that money to build her tiny home, very smart! Paying $450 a month is nothing compared to paying $1,000 to $2,000 for rent for an apartment. Plus rents for an apartment go up each year. During this COVID pandemic, this single Mom does not have the stress or worry that she can be evicted from her apartment if she doesn't pay the rent. I like how this Mom gave her son a bigger room with space, standing room, and privacy. I love the views this Mom has. So relaxing to look at that every day 😍 Lots of storage spaces in this home. Her son looks very happy As a single parent, you have to look for ways to save money and be in a budget. Hard with only one income and paying so many bills in an apartment.

This home is absolutely wonderful. I'm so happy for them and it's such a blessing to realize we dont need a ton of stuff, we are seeking experiences in this flesh shell but so many look to tv and big electronic elitists and society try to deceive us we need tons of stuff. I'm so thankful I'm learning lots of stuff doesn't equal joy. Blessings to them in the journey theyve created and achieved:)

I will probably spend the same since I am not skilled at anything but painting. I love the loft above the bathroom. That will be my reading room.

It's the people that make the home kind sweet lady.
