I see videos like this, I look at the dislikes, and all I can do is shake my head. How can anyone dislike this video, let alone a 1,000 people? This is a family sharing a moment in their life. There's absolutely nothing hateful or negative in this video. The teen looked great with and without the dreadlocks. Cutting your hair after growing it for 9 years is a very big deal. Great video. I'm not even going to read the comments.

It could just be they liked the dreads - nothing more. Kinda voting on which look they like better. I'm a 64 yr old white women and I liked the dreads better (I just like dreads). Nice looking either way. Took guts that's for sure! wtg

My hat is off to any man who can wear his hair long. The kid looked good with the locks. Too many people associate a man with long hair with being a slacker drug addict, but what people don't know is how much work and care it takes to maintain their hair.
