Wow I am a senior. Until I was 7 my mother did not work outside the home. She never cooked breakfast. We might get a piece of toast in morning. Once a week on the weekends when Dad was home she would make oatmeal for breakfast. Pop tarts were maybe once a month and mother was in heaven when they were created. We would each get one. Mother never made lunch. We waited until dinner. We never knew other children were fed 3 meals/day. When we went to school we had lunch. We liked that best meal all day. I still only eat light in morning and dinner. Habit I guess. It amazes me how you joyfully cook 3 meals/day. Nutritious full of nutrients and make sure your children are full. You are industrious and organized in meal planning. I am so impressed.

My mom never picked me up for school from my grandmother’s house, I was 8. Living with my dad, I learned how to cook. I did the grocery shopping around 10, my grandmother would do hers and I did mine. My dad would give me 30.00. This would have to last one month. We didn’t have a car, my dad never had a drivers license..I could go on and on. I have two girls, grow now. Feeding and cooking is my love language.

@bobbiek2960 I wish I could have lived with my paternal grandparents They wanted us but mother would not give up the child support after age 7. I had to become the mother groceries laundry etc.. I understand exactly what you are saying. Your children are so blessed.

Lamb Chop’s Sing-a-long!! Where kids come to sing along!! And fun things are all we ever do!!☺️🎶 Now I’ll have that in my head all day!!😂
You remind me so much of my Mom. She loved to cook and bake, all from scratch. All these years later I remember the love she put into our meals. She was way ahead of her time in nutrition facts as well. We were the healthiest kids on the block! :)
Here in the UK we make a similar meal but with mashed potatoes on top of the meat. If you use lamb it’s called Shepherds Pie and if using beef it’s called Cottage Pie. We add onions and carrots to the mix. Yum.

Love watching you prepare all your different recipes, everything always looks so yummy😋 And I always appreciate that you share it all with us. Your kids will grow up appreciating all you do or did for them as children, how lucky they are to have a mom that does all you do. I'm sure they appreciate it now, but these things will always be special to them. Again, thanks for sharing😊
You singing it made me smile 😊 what a great idea for lasagna using potatoes instead of noodles.
Thank you!
Yummy recipes!!! Your house is looking so cute!

You make such lovely meals for your family. Isn't it delightful to make cinnamon rolls and make your family so happy? Have a blessed weekend.
Hope you get some rest. You are a hardworking Mama! ❤Val C
Baking sourdough discard flatbread with shredded chicken & cheese with rosemary and basil seasoning. I love making flatbreads more than regular loaves sometimes because they can be for any meal. I made it with cinnamon sugar and toffee chips yesterday as a snack. 😊
Interesting, thanks
I have made the cinnamon rolls and they are delicious!!!! I just left them plain and my granddaughters loved them !!!!!!! My son hunts and has venison but I just can’t seem to eat it !!!! But your recipes look delicious!!!!!!!
One of my favorite ways to use ground deer is to combine it with a good ground breafast sausage especially one that has a little kick to it and make deer breakfast sausage patties to go with our breakfasts.
We like maple icing on our cinnamon rolls...❤ Family favorite!!!!

I haven't noticed any yet but feel like it is still to early?
Hey, if you keep mixing stuff on your scale itself, you can mess up your calibrations on the scale. I just found out about this myself 😮😊
Lambchops is the show you sing to. Lol Now, you’re going to make me ing that to my repetitive chores. Lol
Some stay at home moms get really bogged down by the mundane tasks like doing dishes or laundry, but I have learned to value these types of jobs the most. Having physical work to do is a blessing to our mind and body. I agree with you that we have to, keep our perspective about them in the right place. It is a blessing to serve our families for Christ.
My mom makes pull a parts in a Bundt pan and pours her cinnamon, butter etc over the balls of dough. They are so good😅
My mom always used melted butter for her cinnamon rolls then put the brown sugar/cinnamon on top of the melted butter.
Lamb chops song from the lamb chops show. Watched it too 😊
When I do dishes and laundry, I sing the never-ending story song, but I change the words to never-ending laundry, and never ending dishes. :-) My children have caught on, and they sing along every time! :-)
If you forget again you can add more frozen butter and it will quickly start to harden your sauce, use a new bowl
Since I was little I remember my mom always saying "house chores never end". So true 😄
Hi, I'm new here and adore you for your very hard work! Do you get to rest in the middle of the day?
Wow your scrambled egg looks the best I’ve seen 😁 is it cast iron you cook it in? And how do you stop the eggs from sticking please?
Lovely🌻🌻🌻
Hi Laura, I love you videos. I noticed you don't use the Berkey water filter anymore. Thoughts on it?
Laura what oven temperature do you cook your cowboy lasagna on? How long do you cook it for? I want to try this recipe for my family. It sounds and looks delicious. Thanks.
Yum!
Made me giggle “scared me, didn’t even wake him up” haha isn’t that the way? I think my husband would sleep through anything.
Lamb chop this is the song that never ends it goes on and on my friend, some people started singing it not knowing what it was and they continue singing forever just because lol Yes 😅
Im slowly converting to more natural products. I would love to do everything but it takes some time
Just throwing this out there, but I watched a show called Lamb Chops Play Along. Perhaps that's the one you are thinking of. Hahaha - been years since I've even thought about it 😅

Oh my goodness I loved lamb chop
It was Lamb chop and friends. That's the show that you were talking about. Everything looks delicious
Hi Laura what brand is your bread machine the link opens to Amazon with lots of different brands I like yours because it doesn't have a hole in the end
We do that, too - take a roast and cook it with Rotel tomatoes, and lots of taco seasonings. Then I shred it, and mix it with the juice, and make some enchiladas to put in a pan to bake, and put the rest of 'em in the freezer. Then on nights we want enchiladas, all I do is get the frozen ones out, top with some enchilada sauce & cheese, and bake them!! Delicious way to use roasts!! (PS - love your videos, but the music is too loud, and I have to turn it way down, and then I can hardly hear you.)
I wish I could like sauerkraut. My grandparents came from Germany and tried to get me to like it. When I started watching you and your sister I thought I would try to make it and see if I could develop a taste for it, but absolutely not 😢
Love your channel, I follow farmhouse on Boone as well, but I can’t find your other sisters channel, do u mind sharing thank u ❤
You probably answered this question before but when is your baby due? I am a subscriber to your sister' Lisa's channel as well. Although I'm done with childbirth and rearing kids(at 78) I find both of your channels fascinating and I have learned a lot from you both and yes, you can teach an old dog(me) new tricks LOL Thanks for that and keep doing what your doing you are both an inspiration to old and young women alike 😊

I have a question about using the bread maker. So you add the ingredients. Then you do the function ok mixing 1hr and 30min) then you let it rise / fermentaded for x amount of hrs? Basically the machines does what I would do in the 15min mixture?
What preservative would you use in your hand wash if the PH level was to low please?
How long do you bake your cowboy lasagna? What temperature? Yours looks delicious!

About 45 minutes at 350°
It was the Sherry Lewis Show with Lamb chops and other animals.
Just a tip. Don’t stir on your scale it will eventually cause calibration problems. Take it from one who knows. Lol
I was just curious , do you have some kind of water filter system on your kitchen sink faucet ? I am not fond of drinking water straight out the faucet anymore , wondering if you have a filter system , if so can you share the brand you have , thank you :)

Lamb chop!🤗
I was just telling my fiancé about that song and how it still gets stuck in my head to this day. 😁
My sourdough starter always seems to separate and it's almost clear liquid at the top. I end up throwing it away because I think it's bad.

LMNT is expensive and uses a very poor form of potassium which is not assimilated well and should not be used. Make your own.
