naw this stuff is a vegan hairdye, that consists of a food type colouring in a hair conditioner. Only dye I've used in my life that leaves my hair feeling softer and healthier.

Honestly I love that her mother is letting her do this. Once I started getting my hair dyed I just felt so much more comfortable in my own skin, and it felt really freeing.

My mother never let me have any say over my own hair. It always had to be how she wanted it. I now have a 16 yr old daughter of my own. I give her my honest opinion on her hair, but that's it. She changes the color of her hair every month. I'm not always a fan of the colors she chooses, but at least she gets to express herself and she's happy!

I see nothing wrong with the mom adding color to her hair. She was naturally blonde so no bleaching was done. It's just another way to express herself, and I think she looks adorable with this color on her! i am glad she even checked with her daughters school first since i know so many schools won't allow colored hair. If you don't agree with her doing this, just keep scrolling and move on. No need to bash the mom for letting her be a kid before she has to get a job that might limit her from playing around with hair color! I say this as a college student who has colored hair myself😉 Edit to add: semi perm dye is way less harmful than the canned colored hairsprays at Halloween stores 😉

It doesn't matter what color her hair is...she's a child that is obviously loved very much by her mother. That's all that matters. Let her express herself, as she grows up she'll feel good about herself and have confidence.

IT's only temporary so it's not a huge commitment that she could regret. I dyed my hair for the first time and it was permanent but I have never regretted it. It's just about having some fun, trying new things and learning to express yourself in different ways. Dying your hair (temporarily) is pretty much the same as just painting your nails

When I was ten, my hair was so long, that it passed my butt so my mum and sisters dyed from my shoulders down, dark purple and everyone (other than my grandfather) loved it. I had all these older girls begging to play with my hair and treated me like a little sister. There's nothing wrong with dying a kids hair. Not only am I happy that her mom let her dye her hair, but it also actually looks really beautiful.

In third grade, I had pink streaks in my hair. Over the span of 3 months, at least 5 other girls had dyed tips or streaks. Sometimes, change is worth it. I still have my hair dyed to this day.

Teaching girls at a young age that they have control over their own bodies is very important! Let girls be who they want!

I don't see what's the problem. Some people just don't like their natural hair color very much, and that's not wrong. For me, staring down at my average, brown hair everyday is slightly depressing. But just imagine having your favorite color on your head everyday!

Her hair is beautiful! I dyed my hair when I was in Kindergarten (only the tips and it was purple) and I loved it! It was like opening a door to a different world. I loved being able to express myself with fun hair. Honestly her hair is so beautiful. It was done by a hairdresser and they got permission from the school. So I see no problem! Overall her mom did a great job and she seems very happy with it so yay!

Yeah same. But I bleached mine blonde. Here's a little list of my hair colors: Blonde, then I got a touch up, then I colored it pink, then I got a redo on the pink, then I got blue, and then I did blue and pink, and then I got it brown and now the reddish brown orangy color it is now.

She looks great. I loved dying my hair in the 90's when it wasn't common. I remember telling bullies that coloured hair will be common place in 20 years.

Hair is dead skin. It's not a big deal. also it's makes her so happy!
