Don't forget to moisten the needle before inserting! Everytime I see this, my heart starts to shiver and not in a good way. We use the same balls for 5 seasons now and not one of them is getting flat.

I like this Ball so much it Fels smooth and is really fast
Ive started playing volleyball about 3 years ago, and played with different brands. My personal favorite is the molten ball, second would be the tachikara balls. I love the grip on the molten ball and for the angle hits and line hits you can really feel the contact with the ball. The tachikara balls is great too but it gets really sweaty real quick lol
That Blue, red & white is just amazing
Just started playing with this ball this year, love everything about it except I am having problems with bumping it. I really enjoy spiking this ball, feels great when you hammer it

Italian here. We also use Mikasa (mostly MVA200) and Molten in our men division competitions. I have always been great fan of the MVA200 for the clean touch. However, that was until some days ago, during a match in which the ball slipped from my fingers as I was setting! So now that I understand how relevant it is to have a strong grip on the ball, I'm looking to try or buy the M5V5000, which sure is developed to be the ball with the best grip.
I want to get this molten ball and a mikasa but I live in the Philippines, online shopping is hard because most of the balls are replicas (fake).

I wish they would have more colors on their balls and different ones. Blue Red White looks pretty cool, they should just have many cool colors :D same for Mikasa.
I compared the MVA200 and the flistatec and I must say flistatec has become my favorite not only for serving but for spiking and setting as well but the only thing I kind of dislike about the ball is how heavy is feels when receiving compared to like the MIP300
We also use this ball in the green/red/white edition since we started to play. I realy don't like the blue/yellow Mikasa and i prefer this one because it realy has so much grip. Its awesome when you go for top spin serves or spikes in my opinion. Thank you for the nice review.

Well everyone has its favorite one i guess but for me it feels like its never falling down to the ground once i hit the Mikasa. Whenever i serve this one it lands around 4 or 5 meters behind the field while this molten is going down around 1 or 2 meters before the rear line of the field. ^^

The Mikasa ball really tends to float a lot more than the Molten one. I think this is due to the design of the Mikasa vs the Molten. The Mikasa is so smooth and only dotted with golf ball like divots that probably allow it to float a lot more, whereas the Molton ball is completely covered with a hexagonal net of grip with makes it so much easier to put a top spin on it.

We don’t have this kind of ball in Brazil. It must be amazing! Tank you for review!
This is hands down the best indoor ball. And as a setter, I'd say that BECAUSE it has an amazing grip, it's also easier to set. Don't really agree with the cons about being more difficult to make clean sets.

In my team we mostly have mva200s which are starting to get replaced by v200ws those are the balls that we play official matches with. But we also have moltens at practicing which are great especially for serving they are soft and have a nice feel but i honestly prefer the mikasas and the older mva200 by a slight margin to be specific it's just so classic and it feels just like how a volleyball should feel. But they're all amazing balls i would be more than happy to play with either of these 3
Man sounds like he is giving a speech at my public speaking class 😅
Can you do a review on the Tachikara Six? It's the official ball for the Canadian Youth Nationals. I used it this weekend and would like your take on it.
Hey coach! Can you do a comparison between Molten Flistatec V5M5000 and the Mikasa MVA 200 in detail (setting, spiking, etc.) In Bulgaria we mostly use Mikasa and Gala volleyballs. (GALA Pro Line - BV 5591 S)
personally, i preffer the mikasa MVA200 because it's easier to track
hey coach donny could you pls do a video about positioning when you are a libero
I like the flistatec because it curves more then other balls (better to topsin/sidespin serve)
Coach Donny, Quick question: any way to soften this ball? I had a gauge pump to make sure the pressure is right, but it's really heavy on the hands. Using it for warmups for three months now but it still stings.
Where do you guys buy these balls because they’re out of stock on all the websites where they’re priced like at 50$ and on Amazon where they have it in stock, it’s like 90$.
Hello coach Donny , I really enjoying ur videos and very helpful coz i m new with volleyball plz tell me i have plate feet which type of shoes u can recommend me. Thanks
I’m going to start my own volleyball collection
I know this ball is used for indoor volleyball, but with COVID I've been playing grass more than indoors and I know I should be looking at the Wilson OPTX or the KOB for outdoor plays, but do you think the V5M5000 is a good ball to use for outdoor volleyball honestly? I currently own only two of the V5M5000 and I was thinking of using them until they're worn out but should I be investing in the OPTX or KOB instead? Apologies for the stupid question
Does it hurt your wrist when you receive because I’m practicing on receiving
Imo for the money if you want to spend only 30 or 40 dollars the best ball is a tachikara which you can get in ebay for that. I have gotten an original for $32. However I did buy a molten recently and it's great just more money
Really bouncy, makes easier to hit hard... makes players look like monster attackers :)
Hey I just bought one of these balls and have had a great time with it but there’s one con with it, I’m not able to palm or hold the ball without it slipping out of my hand. It kind of makes it seem like the grip isn’t really there is there an explanation to this?
Is it better to buy a single good quality ball to train with or buy multiple affordable balls to train with? if so which balls?
I just got my ball stuck on an abandoned building and can't go up to get it. Now I'm looking to buy a new one
I like mikasa...but right now i will try molten
Hello sir, I am new in your channel.thank you for guidance of volleyball. Please give shooting ball good brand review please
as of 2022, can you use the ball outdoors on concrete? I am getting worried if the ball will tear if I keep playing on concrete floor.
Hey coach, does your website All Volleyball automatically sets the pricing to my country? I want to know before I buy a ball.
I bought mine pretty recently but it seems to have this weird sound when ever bounced around kinda like it was over inflated is this normal ? Or should I contact molten for a replacement
For the international version, there are two different molten models with the biggest difference seems to be the FIVE symbol? Is one of them a fake? Or are they both real and good just a regional distrubution difference?? And is there a quality difference???
How about the mip300? its cheaper than the mva200 but it looks to have the same dimples and material, only the panel design is different.
I play volleyball for almost a year now and I still haven't bought a volleyball for myself. I play indoor volleyball. I don't want the volleyball to be too expensive so does anyone have suggestions for me + the advantages and disadvantages with the ball and not that hard but still not bad quality (up to 20€) I know I'm asking for too much bit if there is one fitting most of my description (if there is one, I hope it is around 20 euros or less 😅 Have a nice day/night! 💗🌸✨
I bought the pro touch one, but mine doesn’t have the “USA volleyball” logo on it. It looks the same, not sure if it’s authentic without that logo or not though.
Is there a difference in v5m5000-3n and v5m5000-3usa?
Did the ball smell weird when you first took it out of the bag
why the usa model s named "pro touch" and the other has not , theres a diference in tact o touch or texture?
I'm here WATCHING volleyball ball review but I remember I do not have one😔
This is my dream ball im gonna ask it on my birthday but there are lots of fake ones so its gonna be hard im gonna go for the green red and white
does anyone know how hard this ball should be pumped to, say if u were to drop it on wooden floor, how high would it bounce?
What happened to the MIKASA brand? Did they broke? Oh, I am so sad. I meant, bankr-up-sy?
at my school we use the Molten V5M1500, i'm interested in buying a ball to practice at home but i don't think i'll choose that one.

lols its only hard probably because it was over pumped and brand new. The ball takes about a 5-6 hours of play to break in. Once it breaks in, its so much better than other balls including the Mikasa FIVB yellow and blue ball.

@@SnailKingGY I wish that were the case, but it's not. I got it pressure checked and it is properly inflated and 4.5psi. Feels like playing with a basketball it's so hard and rubber-like. I use it myself after matches to practice serves and never softened up.
Why do some of the fivb approved volley balls have a circle around the Fivb logo while others just have a line under the logo? Anybody know?
Coach, can you do a tutorial on how to read block? I can block some spikes but it's really hard to read where the setter tosses it to that's why it is more often that I touch the ball but not completely blocking it. THANKS! (Sorry for the random request)😂
@SnailKingGY
6 жыл бұрын
Start by just watching for setter tendencies. Those she tend to set certain hitters when she gets bad passes, or does run the middle when she gets good passes. Those her body position give away where she is setting, because a lot of setters do certain thing when setting certain positions. I.E. Micah Christenson (the USA national team setter) tends to rotate his body to set the opposite hitter. Read blocking is not really about completely blocking a spike, it's more about getting at least a touch or smothering the hitters' hitting options. What changes a read block to a commit block (where you completely commit to blocking a certain hitter) is when you start anticipating the setters set, you only really start doing this after carefully watching the setter for multiple points and learning her body patterns. It usually takes me around half a set (20 or so points) or even a whole set for me to start really reading the setter well enough to start committing on certain hitters. Overall, you just have to start looking out for setter tendencies.

I know this comment is a year old but as a regular beach player here are various balls I've seen/played with often. Not as grippy as OPTX/floats more) Mikasa King of The Beach official ball (Used in King Of The Court events, grippy texture - if you like the AVP OPTX but not the expensive price tag try this imo) Molten BV5000/V5B5000 (FIVB approved, decent grip/not super floaty. Least fav out of the bunch but still a solid ball imo good budget price
