Molarity Practice Problems
This chemistry video tutorial explains how to solve common molarity problems. It discusses how to calculate the concentration of a solution given the mass in grams, given moles and volume in Liters, given grams and mL of solution, and how to find the molarity given the density and volume of the solution. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

Because you weren't paying attention. I literally do this exact same thing in the class and kids bitch and bitch. I say desired on top, cancelled on the bottom. Molarity is mols per liter and you can use it as a conversion factor. I give them mol maps to show them EXACTLY what to do. You don't pay attention.
Struggling for two weeks with this, you cleared it in 20 minutes, thank you!!!!! Please don’t stop helping students all over the world, the hero we need and don’t deserve !!

Your a godsend 🥺I had no idea what my instructor was trying to tell me for 2 weeks and you helped me understand in 20 minutes
You make chemistry so easy ton understand. your videos are concise yet still cover all the specifics. I thank you with my entire heart, sincerely, a chemistry 110 student =,)

Your channel has helped me catch up with the lessons I missed! Thank you so much! 💖
you are helping me back in high school till now in college, you deserve a lot ❤
what’s sad is that this is supposed to be the easiest part of my test today 💀
I got finals coming up in two days and these videos are great! Thank you 😊
Helpful in this pandemic times where teachers can't conduct their lessons face to face and students tend to self study. I'm learning a lot from this video. Thank's for sharing, helping and teaching.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a step-by-step analysis of Molarity Practice Problems in AP/General Chemistry. The practice problems are an excellent way to fully learn about molarity problems in Chemistry. This is an error free video/lecture on KZread TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Thank you so much. I didn’t even understand this till you taught me. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much this video helped so much. Ive been struggling and very confused in hon chem lately.
Thank you so much you are the best chemistry teacher until now 👍⚘
Thank you! I have an exam tomorrow and doing these problems and then checking with you how you solved it really helped. Keep up the great work.

YOU HAVE BEEN SAVING ME SINCE WE STARTED OUR ONLINE CHEM CLASS!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH
I like this video because you broke down molarity with beautiful examples
Your the real stress buster of chemist whenever i felt down with chemistry topics after watching ur videos im getting a great confidence....no more words to say thanks alottttttt thala

Bro why are you so awesome! saving lives and grades.
Than you so much for your help! I really appreciate your videos here.
Evereytime the answer comes my mind got mind blown, its like a magic to me.. hahaha
Excellent video, much praise and thanks for the work you do. At around the 11:30 mark, why is that we use only use sulfate ions in our final answer and not Aluminum when the question asks for both Aluminum ions and Sulfate ions? So typing this question helped me realize the answer to my question. You were giving us an example of how to show our work if we had too.
so so so helpful especially for the MCAT thank you so much!!!

Thank you. I'm so glad I came across this channel. I feel better and more confident now. Thanks and God bless you.
@15:20 cannot we find molarity of the solution and multiply it with the subscript (which is three for chlorine here,) like in the previous question to this we did when the molarity of the salt was given and concentration of ions were asked and we did the calculations the same way.
This is more usefull than my teachers 1 hour lesson
Hello! correct me if I'm worng but in No. 1 (c) isn't 700 mg supposed to be converted to grams? I'm sorry, I didn't use the traditional dimensional analysis method but I computed it one-by-one. :((
I hope to learn a lot from you thank you

Why did you write the answer of question 1c as a decimal? I had it perfectly fine just the same but without the decimal. Is that a problem ?
This man and audiobooks is the only way I’m passing highschool
I get a bit confused by these different steps. Sometimes it says x before something but instead you divide by it. Sometimes there is a divided by but you multiply. Is there any video that explains the process more thoroughly, like explaining why you (as in around 8:50) start with 50 ml / 1 rather than just 50 ml. Many of these little things seem odd to me. It would be great with a video that explains the framework in detail in order to remember it all more easily.
How did he find/set up the equation at 19:02? knowing could really help me understand
@rosepierce9382
Жыл бұрын
It's dimensional analysis. Basically, grams in the bottom cancel with grams at the top. You could set up the conversion factor in such a way that it gives you the result in the desired units.
Your teaching is too good thanks for making this video
Good day sir , I hope you are well .For question 5, why did you calculate the mass of NH4CL and not the mass of AlCl3 ?
OMG THANK YOU VERY MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH 😔❤😍😍😍😍 THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!
This practice problem is confusing me and I’m wondering if anyone can help me: when 34.5mL of 1.300M potassium carbonate solution reacts with 15.4mL of 2.900M hydrochloric acid what is the mass of gas that is produced?
Thanks a lot bro ❤
Are you supposed to round Molarity to the correct sig figs?
I have a test in 10 minutes,I haven’t payed attention in chem, I hope this video saves me 😭
I know this isn't a huge deal but be careful with the placement of the signs for the charges. At 10:56, I was a little confused for a sec!!! Great video!!!
Thanks a lots. Great help..
You are a blessing
3 days before my test. I got everything else except these molarity and molality formulas.
THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR
i don't know if you can read this but you have a special place in heaven. guy, you are amazing
Thank you so much!
Bout to get a 100 on this chem test trust
I can't thank you enough. That was amazing.
Are you supposed to make it neutral charge? Example is sodium and oxygen, sodium is + charge and oxygen is 2-. So shouldn't you multiply sodium by two and use that in the grams to mols conversion?
THANK YOU
at 9:30 ... Isn't the answer just 1.9 M? since the measurement with the least significant figures only has 2 sig figs?
pov: you're here the night before your chem test and you haven't payed any attention
Mark Wahlberg does the best chem videos
You are the best
Actually fucking carrying me through chem this year
how can u just flip a fraction at 20:33? where did that come from!?
There is slight inaccuracy in problem 2. 50 mL ethanol + 400 mL water is not 450 mL solution. Ethanol has smaller molecules than water so when they are mixed ethanol occupies the space left by water molecules.
Thank you Sir
Why was the volume in the last question given in ml not L?
Can someone help me how many moles of urea are needed to form 0.30 m solution using 225 grams water
I think my wish would come true because of you🥺🥺 umm idk what to say would ot will? But nevermind THANKSSSSSS
thx!
How did you get 40g NaOH?
in 4:00 i don't get it, why does the answer is 6M?
Jet johhh......😊 sir
Thanks
In question 2: Why didn't you change the 50ml of ethanol to 0.05L to find the mass of ethanol since you changed the 450ml to 0.45L
Bless you
what if the density has a temperature?
Who else here the night before the Chem test

can someone help me on the B part, i didnt get the part where he converts the 60g of NaOH
@poseidonbeats8465
3 жыл бұрын
the 60g is given you divide by the molar mass. You add up the molar masses of Na O and H
