I have a chemistry exam tomorrow based on chemical composition... what I've been taught at school for 3 weeks has been summarized from watching an hour of your videos altogether based on this unit. An hour that has taught and thoroughly explained the lesson and allowed me to comprehend what I did not understand in the weeks with my chemistry teacher. Thank you so much for being a life savior!

matt dud You are probably putting the exponents into you calculator incorrectly. You should not use that ^ thing. Because of order of operations it works with multiplication but not with division. You should have an exponent (exp) button on your calculator. If you are not sure which one it is you can use ^ thing but then you have to put parentheses around the two numbers as in (9.23 x 10^24) / (6.02 x 10^23) = 15.33 mol. Ask someone at school about how to enter exponents correctly. Does that help?

Use the exponent key or put each of the terms in parentheses. Does that help?
