For the big boss in the trial chambers they should add like, the Hurricane - which is just the Wildfire, but wind…

Something I saw in the comment section of Mumbo’s video which I thought I’d repeat here is that they could make it so by default the pistons have the old sound but you can wax them and then the sound changes to the new one. Another thing they could do to solve this problem is to add a volume slider for Redstone components to satisfy those who like and dislike the sound. These wouldn’t be difficult to add as it is just audio related and most likely could cause any issues elsewhere although I’m not a game dev so who knows

As a legit general option, that is such a good idea. They already have sliders for hostile mobs and friendly mobs. They even have a slider for note blocks and jukeboxes! I’m honestly surprised they haven’t added this already. Obviously this is not gonna solve the disgusting new piston sounds, but it would be sooo cool if you could wax them and change the sound

7:26 - A Guardian or Ravager does not fit in the Trial Chambers. Ravager's are a type of Pillager and there's no sign of pillagers ever being in the Trial Chambers and Guardians are designed for the Ocean Monument, both from a game dev perspective and a lore perspective, it was made to protect the ocean monument. There's no logical reason to How or Why they would be in a Trial Chamber. I totally agree on the point that there should be a "Big Boss" of the Trial chambers, but I like to compare the Trial chambers to the Nether Fortresses since they have the Blaze, the Breeze being it's wind element equivalent. Maybe when Mojang have added all elements they will also add the element paintings you can get in creative mode and maybe add a boss equivalent to the Blaze, Breeze (and the rest) similar to the Hovering Inferno (Mob D - Mob vote | Minecon 2017). That could introduce "Boss" Battles to their equivalent structure (Blaze's Fortress and Breeze's Trial Chambers). BUT HEY! That's just a theory!

It's nice that capes are being made more accessible, but it's also ridiculous that you now have to use a bunch of social media platforms to get them. Mojang isn't doing this for the players; they're doing it for the brand deals.

Yeah never liked when companies do this. I get if an indie studio does some kind of deal with a bigger platform, but this stinks. TikTok and Twitch are also some of the most unsafe mainstream platforms for children to use. Not sure why people aren't making more of a fuzz about this.

@@dusthunter2997 the problem with java advancements is that they are obtained per-world and aren't disabled with cheats enabled, compared to bedrock achievements being unlocked once when you first do it and being unobtainable when cheats are enabled i really like the idea of achievement-tied capes but they might require a reworking of the advancement system

You made me think about how long I’ve been watching your channel. Maybe around 8 years? I remember watching your videos in that creative superflat world with all those builds. Yeah, 6:00 that's how i feel but in america you have to travel an hour to get anywhere. It's annoying but necessary if I want to go to a store that isn't a grocery store.

Of all the sounds to change they should have changed the dispenser / dropper click.

Minecraft should make sound accessibility options. Some loud and repetitive sound are unbearable to some people. Let's juts make it an accessibility option. With great gratifying satisfying sound, and quiet, calm, buts still satisfying sound as 2 options.

I actually disapprove the re-introduction of limited-time capes since it's already pretty well known that many accounts with capes are hacked and sold specifically for the capes. There's already been MANY accounts stolen just for capes and it's likely never gonna stop as long as limited-time capes are in the game.

I think that is the reason why the capes now are given out to such vast accessibility, more people have em, less of a chance to get hacked, but also still make it limited time only to feel the rarity of it yourself

You should get a cape for doing every achievement, though it would get harder over time.

I kinda liked it being quieter, however I get how everyelse felt about the new sound it made. Hopefully they can maybe fix the issue in some other way.

Old Sound, but Quieter, simple.

The way I see it, capes shouldn't be something locked behind the minecon paywall, there should be more capes and maybe a custom cape features to increase creativity and expression within skins

the design of the tik tok cape is unironically really slick. I'll probably just keep using my founders cape enough

I've probably been subscribed to you for 6 years as of some time this summer. Idk about publicly or not though. The first video of yours that I watched was beating Minecraft without mining or crafting. What an insane Minecraft challenge.

The new pot already looks very similar to an existing one featuring a map with an X on it. It could be a different interpretation or an early design that they didn't update for the trailer version of the texture.

i wouldn't get a single one tho ;(, cuz i did use the same microsoft account to play minecraft more than 5 years ago, just it was pocket edition so it wouldnt count, my java account is only 2 years old. They should still 100% do this tho

that "brand new pot" could be an old version of a pot that already exists and I think they just added it as an easter egg this makes more sense than them adding two of the same pot with some differences

so I think that the new pot (side) is going to be a new sherd which can be found in a burried treasure, because it has a few lines on it and a letter X which is very simular to the X on a burried treasure map

The old piston sounds so much better and I am glad they are changing it (at least a bit).

If they would add wither heads including the blue one, people could make some futuristic sounding piston doors. Using heads on jukeboxs.

The new piston sound shown in the beggining is NOT the new piston sound. That is the lever. The new spund is quiet and hard to hear.

Use different items on pistons to change their sounds. Imagine if yiu could use ink sacs to make pistons completely silent, bonemeal as a dry lubricant to make them quieter but spookier, glow ink sacs for a futuristic sound, and more options possibly as well!

I like to think that every update up until 1.21's release should have a different, more random sound for the piston just to keep the guessing going on what the real sound will be.

just revert the sound to the old 'normal' sound and add some sort of mechanic with wool to dampen the sound... might make redstone bigger tho

It still needs to sound mechanical as the old one but be a bit quite so you can play with sound design

What they should have done, is if you wanted silent Pistons you could take the eco shards from the deep dark and craft them together so if you wanted quieter pistons it was an option

Rare footage of Mojang fixing their mistakes and making it better.

The weird thing is the actual sound files for the new piston sounds different, and in my opinion better than in-game. I’m not sure how different the pitch is but listening to it on its own, it’s not as quiet and still sounds piston-like. I do hope the new sounds are better tho

i think it would be cool if they could just keep the old sound, and add a way to "lubricate" the pistons to make the pistons quieter, that way people who like the old sound can keep it that way, while also having an option for the new sound (or some other form) for those who want quieter pistons.

Basically a yellow minecon 2011 cape. It was added around the 10 year anniversary of Minecraft, in 2019, but was a Bedrock-only cape.

Hear me out: keep the piston noise the same as before, but then make some sort of way to toggle silenced pistons, like with sculk sensors being silencable with water except maybe in a different way because it would be chaotic to waterlog pistons and work redstone around that

I didn't think there was a way to see for yourself how long you've been subscribed, but I just found a website that must pulls that data from YT so apparently I've been subscribed since 20 January 2019. I thought it was longer to be honest because I was aware of you from years back as one of the people who'd be in Hide and Seek videos with Stampy, Squid, BigBSt4tz and the like. But actually looking back, that was 3 months before 1.14 Village and Pillage, so I probably started following the update news from you, because before that I don't think I really knew what was going on with updates. (I feel like I was fairly in the loop for 1.13 Update Aquatic but I'm not certain, so I could believe it).

Alternative idea! Why not both types of pisons? Keep the original as is and have a new one made with copper that ages - as it ages it gets more noisy and slower. This way people could alter the timings of piston redstone machines and have different sounding piston doors.

i think they should add a new silent piston you can craft with a piston and wool, like the sticky piston, but it would be a new piston variant, the silent piston!

KZread actually does have a twitch like reward system they just haven't done anything with it as far as I've seen. I know this because 3 or so years ago during the finals for the Call of Duty league (black ops cold war season) they added a system that showed up as a heart with a plus that let you link your KZread and activision account so you could unlock rewards by watching the livestreams. I think the system was introduced with the CDL since it was exclusive to youtube at the time. There have been many games that release limited rewards for watching streams and in the back of my head I think that youtube could jump on this and use the system but they never do.

03:29 I agree with this. What about the Xbox 360 Cape Microsoft Staff had on Console Legacy Xbox 360 Edition? They should do a one time release of this cape for Java and Bedrock to people who have played Console Legacy Xbox 360 Edition and have all the Achievements to it.

They should just add a slider for redstone. Make it include EVERYTHING. Have it quiet droppers, dispensers, levers, doors, trapdoors, etc...

I agree with your sentiment about getting stuff for time, effort, or special occasions but just paying for something tiny and random sucks, perfect example is that Twitch head, the other Twitch item they're giving if you sub or gift a sub to someone while watching someone who has it enabled on their stream.

It would be great if mojang brought back the founders cape to those who have it already on bedrock, to their java account. It just doesn’t make much sense to me to release a ten year anniversary cape and not have it available on the original version of the game.

Yeah what makes driving enjoyable-ish (ugh Texan drivers have been “fun” for almost 15 years for me) is listening to music mixes on KZread but sometimes this weird guy comes on to do covers of Toto, The Proclaimers and Lena Raine.

I can understand why somebody would think it would be the 7th of June since the last two major updates that we have gotten to the game have fallen on that exact date.

I don't have the minecon capes for 2 reasons, I was like 8 years old, and I had to go in another country to get it. I prefer the new way of getting capes

how to fix the problem of the pistons : 1 get the old piston sounds back in place 2 add another crafting recipe for the quieter pistons ( like : piston + carpet = quiet piston ) and ( sticky piston + carpet = quiet sticky piston ) and you can uncraft them

I personally love TikTok, and I think the cape design is so cool. BUT KZread is the platform that contributed the most to Minecraft's growth and success
