Excellent machine, top effort in a country who's lawmakers think restoring and strengthening an 80 year old car chassis to put under a modern street rod is a better option than a new modern reproduction built with modern material and welding techniques is a no small feat. If I had 300-400k (wild guess at value looking at the work) for a well build machine this is it!

Their laws and also TÜV regulations keep junk off the road. You don’t need a top shop like RS to build you a chassis to meet NZ/AUS requirements. You just need a competent engineer or welder who can meet chassis/rigidity requirements. If this is your first time hearing about stuff like this in the UK and down under and haven’t read what’s required then it can sound ridiculous. A matter of fact if you go to Uncle Tony’s Garage or Kiwi Classics or Customs…they have some recent episodes on classic cars built to unsafe standards by “known” and “unknown” shops.

Nice ride. Awesome sound for an LS motor. Am interested in exhaust system and mufflers used. Any detail you can provide would be very helpful I'm working on a 67 Nova and have the 530HP LS3 from BPE.
